The problem with First Act guitars is that there is no middle ground. You either get a First Act Custom shop as a touring act so you can increase the brands cred or you buy a 100 dollar Wal-Mart/Target guitar that's notorious for bad quality. At least with Gibson, Jackson, Fender, ESP... The general public can buy a real guitar with real hardware and real pickups with a reputation for quality AND they can be repaired if something does go wrong.

All respect to the bands, but First Act sponsoring you is the only reason to play a First Act guitar. People all say "First Act has a custom shop. They're better than any guitar you could buy off the shelf." That's why it's such a sham. You can't buy a First Act custom from any store or a decent First Act custom. They just get bands to play them so they can pedal their 100 dollar target guitars. Kinda hypocritical of Baroness to push First Act and bash pedals sold at "guitarget".

Well, First Act certainly is an odd company, considering they make beginner shit and there is on inbetween and it goes right to Custom Shop. Their custom shop guitars are very good. Many professional musicians use them from System of a down to high on fire to Mastodon to this band.

I just couldn't bare to look at the logo, I know its awful to judge a guitar by what it says on it and generally I don't. I would gig with a squier strat if it was set up well because they're not awful guitars but.... first act.

+TheGreaterGood80 yea there decent but for the money you can get better because there custom shops cost as much a a quality brand mid level guitar i actually think they just paid them to use the guitar for 1 are two song just to show someone famous holding it... but now i guess they got adam lavine
