I saw the notification of this rig rundown but I never heard of Citizen, so I listened to that new record and I quite enjoyed it. Really unique what this band is doing.

Man, I remember discovering Citizen through the band Basement way back in 2014. I was immediately drawn to their sound, still love them. It's insane to see how much they've changed (in a good way). I remember watching an interview with Nick that was recorded outside of Fest in Florida, he was basically a child compared to the way he looks now. So glad they're still making music.

Dude, you have the exact same DIY soundproofing red materials on your wall. I had a friend make the wood frame then I got the damping material from Lowes and covered it in material from Wally World. LOL

If you're burning through pedals, it should tell you something about the build quality. I grew up on EHX, back when there just weren't many options.They sound fine,- until you compare them with other brands; it's the noise floor and the headroom, the quality of the components like the switches. Boss don't suffer these quality issues as much, but they are all buffered.One or two in a chain aren't going to significantly impact the signal, but a whole string of buffered effects isn't ideal. The difference between the overall signal output and harmonic range between a Tele and JM pickup shouldn't be significant, unless they aren't stock.
