I love how Mark Tremonti puts stickers on guitars that cost more than my entire rig.

I always love it when the guitarists themselves come out and talk about their gear instead of hearing the guitar techs talk. To me it just shows the passion of the guitarists if they're willing to share their tone secrets themselves.

I know what you mean. Although I have seen a a rig rundown with Claudio Sanchez from some foreign channell. He didn't know shit about any of his stuff. He was just like here is this thing I like it and it works. Made me realize why you always see his tech do the rundowns.

got to see everything up close a few months back when I took lessons with mark. Honestly the nicest guy. one dude forgot his guitar because he left work late, so mark had his tech grab one of his guitars to use (lucky bastard haha). He even stayed later after the session and talked a bit with me. Very humble and chill dude.

It never ceases to amaze me, how much passion Mark has while discussing his rig. He must have been interviewed about it countless times, yet he's still doing it vigorously. For me he's the best example of a complete guitar player - not only is he extremelly qualified musician, but also he pays attention to his sound, to the smallest bits. THAT'S an authority. And all time Idol for me

okay...now genuinely, that's the kind of dog that I myself would like to build and own... unlike most other artists, Mark knows what's actually working inside his rig, and didn't really need his 'sound guy' to explain stuff... I respect as well envy you man... :)

Guys, just because you think it would be cool to see someone's rig that isn't on here, doesn't mean PG has't probably tried already to interview some of those guys on their rig. Sometimes bands are too busy or they just would rather not do it. It's their choice after all.

You know, you guys have been getting to literally EVERY part of the rig now, but you skipped the mic at least in this. I'm not really sure if you ask now, since there haven't been too many rig rundowns I've been interested in lately, but you should ask what mics they use. That's HUGE, more than cables and picks for sure.

I'm pretty sure I read it's 6L6's that come in a lot of Mesa's. Ok, found one article. Google "tremonti uses 6l6 tubes" and there's a Guitar Player Mag article that comes up saying he uses them in his Bogner Uberschall as well.

Sorry Premier guitar that is not correct. Creed has been back together since 2009. The tour they are on is not a reunion tour as they have been touring 2009 2010 and now 2012. This summers tour is a celebration of My Own Prison when it first came out. Thus the album based concerts. Creed also is working on a second album since being back together which will be out later this year or 2013.

Mark Tremonti is awesome. I'm not really a Creed fan, I have never liked Scott Stapp's singing. But Alter Bridge is *awesome* and way more talented than 99% of the other bands on the radio. His solo project was also fantastic! I understand that people like to hate on Creed, but if you do your research you will find that the instrumentalists are all extraordinarily talented, people just dislike the band because of the singer. Don't hate on someone without doing your research!!!

I am always amazed that almost every time I see a rig, there are amps in there I have never heard of. So, I did a little research and found a Wiki page that list over two hundred amp manufactures. And the list is not complete! Every time I see a new one, I see if it's on the list and many times it's not. Like the Bludotone you see here @ 3:47 So, there are, being conservative, at least 300 world-wide. Who is buying all these amps? Just the big names alone crank out thousands a year. Crazy.

When it just be easier to use a line 6 pod for this most of them tend to emulate different types of heads and effects would be easier than using three or four different amps altogether amp for clean and an another for rhythm and yet another for lead usually most amps have multiple channels but in his circumstance couldn't you just get it custom amp head they have different variations of all those amps together in one unit hold up you can still accomplish this with a line 6 or Fender Mustang
