I'm gonna venture a guess and say the real reason he's awkward is cause he knows the guy's gonna be asking him questions he doesn't care about, and then he has to kinda fake enthusiasm for all this stuff for the video. You can't be awkward by yourself, it's kinda like tango, it takes two. Awkwardness is a concerted effort. He's not awkward when he's with the band. I bet Scott doesn't give a shit about most of this stuff and just likes playing. I mean obvious, cause he called the fret markers "neck logos". :P

Super cool and underrated guy imo. My favorite clean tone is also middle boi and top boi. Isn't that an Ibanez thing? Keep rocking Scott. Saw you guys in Grand Rapids in 2019 pre covid. Can't wait to see you again

Fender said no? What? Weird. Tons of other guitars out there have three single coil sized pickups in them aside from the Strat.

It seems more to me that Ibanez is just really limiting with what they let people do for there first sig, all of the math rock guys have literally the exact same guitar with different color schemes

Scott's a funny guy, I enjoyed the insight and the humor! I was surprised to finally see an Axe 8 in use. I have a traditional rig and an Axe 8 rig, which of course is just that little box. Both are equally useful, inspiring and enjoyable to me.

This is one of the instances where it would've been better to let the tech do the Rundown. Just my honest opinion.
