This was so great! So glad Saves finally got a Rig Rundown. Constantly impressed by the band. They're the best.

Back in 2004 when I was ready to buy my first real gear I woulda killed for one of these with Dave Soloway. Favorite tone of all time (The In Reverie Tour changed my musical life standing in front of him at a shown in Philly). It took me 3 years to achieve what I was looking for... and now here it is. Glad Arun uses LF pickups, I have retrofitted P90s in my Les Paul from him, absolutely amazing. Traded up my Tone Cat for a Samson Era Cub back in 2011 I think and have never looked back. That Amp with an amazing boost and P90 pickups is the clearest Overdrive I have ever heard. Always wished I could open a show with STD (fell through twice) and get pointers from them. Only punk band I've ever heard who cared so much about guitar tone, In Reverie, Sound the Alarm and Under the Boards are PERFECT totally. Unreal musicians.

The Bass Drive was exactly what I used pretty much all the time as well. I had the SVT VR at the time with the matching 8x10, it was pretty good. Doesn't sound like an og though. I actually played with Glassjaw at Maxwell's in NJ and Manny played through it. He said he liked it. This was right after he left STD to stay in GJ.

To clarify the Super(Any 2 channel AB763) mods. Removing V1 increases the cathode current of V2 which increases the gain. Disconnecting the tremolo is a 1 wire mod, that unloads the signal chain, increasing gain.

@louderthangod6 жыл бұрын
Of the professional musicians you know wouldn’t you say that some know everything about their gear and other’s barely know anything.
@pattonPwr6 жыл бұрын
@@louderthangod I can't conceive that a musician who's life is music does not know about every detail of their gear.. look at Green Day's Mike Dirnt (just to name one, even Duff McKagan from GN'R): popular/massive band and he knows about the bass game...
@louderthangod6 жыл бұрын
METZ ZTEM I can assure you many do not know these details and some of them are excellent musicians. Geddy Lee just wrote a book about basses and said up until recently he really only just started caring about the details of the basses themselves. You don’t have to like it for it to be true.
