Man, I love John Bohlinger, he seems so excited on every rig run down he does. Gotta love his genuine excitement, it really shows on camera.

Seen him play so many times. He's always so concentrated on his tone and doesn't let any note go untouched. He works his hardest to give his heart through every chord and every strum. Humble humble man. Love you Drew.

I have had the chance to hang with Drew after a couple different shows over the years, and he really truly is awesome. Extraordinarily talented to boot. Have you had the chance to listen to their newest record, "Where the Light Shines Through"? It's a change of pace for them and makes for a great listen. If you haven't, songs to check out on it are: "Float" (it's got an insane bass line), "Holy Water", "Where The Light Shines Through" (title track), and "Bull in a China Shop".

I've been a fan of Drew's since the 90's with his previous band. I was so fortunate to meet him when they came by our town. After their small, intimate concert, he came out to meet everyone and even signed my guitar. He was super chill and gave everyone time even though he was definitely jetlagged! 100% genuine.

This was one of the better rig rundowns for sure. It would be nice if the artist would actually play their guitar and show us what their tones actually sound like. (Like Myles Kennedy did in the Alter Bridge rundown.)
@ChadVanHalen51508 жыл бұрын
Josiah Bryan Some venues and even stage schedules don't allow that... This is at the Ryman in Nashville which is essentially a museum that does tours during the day, I'm sure they are pretty strict as to when bands can start really playing/sound checking as to not interrupt tours Plus they mentioned a couple times they were cutting it close to sound check, didn't have time to go through and play each pedal
@josiahbryan99728 жыл бұрын
"Some venues and even stage schedules don't allow that". What, like they are going to only let them play at the exact scheduled time when soundcheck starts? You could clearly hear Jon Foreman singing over the PA when they were talking about the amps. If he had played the guitar instead of describing the sound (when he played it) it probably would have been the same length, maybe shorter.
