documenting my journey in learning how to live perform. You gotta have a rig to play. this one is not what you might think.

excellent walk through Mr Wabbit, and a very cool setup too I am really looking forward to your future sonic explorations and, of course, just because you have all that stuff hooked up and ready to go doesn't mean you have to use it all at once... I love your minimal setup jams! cheers, and keep on jammin'! andy 🙂

Nice to see how you set it up. I’m going to move to a house soon and will set up a permanent place for my audio gear… right now i take out what I will jam in and pack away when done each day. I have been checking out patch bays and mixers mostly lately and also want monitors. But it’s a bit boring to buy haha

Nice setup, Wabbit! Finding a good MIDI interface/router is really hard. Every one seems to be an exercise in compromise and frustration. It seems to me that there were more, better options 20 years ago. I opted for the iConnectivity mioXL, and I definitely have a love/hate relationship with it. If I knew then what I know now, I would probably have gone with either the ESI M8U Ex or the MOTU MIDI Express XT, though even they would have been compromises. In the end, the mioXL is working for me, but not as well as I would like. I don’t know that it would work well at all in an a more iPad-centric rig like yours. Cheers!

@@GerenM63 just need a PTZ now! Agree on midi and why I’ve opted to try and focus on a few pieces vs wiring up the entire command center.

Don’t lose your faith on the mrcc, keep looking for it. Easer than the patching bay and you will have all the connectivity flavors in one place. I am a Conductive Labs product fan. I came from the djing side and got bored of making music in the box. I bought a few hardware and the mrcc solve all my routing challenges

OMG. I can't believe this. What a lesson in commenting.

Maybe you've answered this before, but is the Deluge not a potent enough sequencer to be able to do everything you need? I've been wanting an Oxi One but I feel that having the Deluge would be redundant.

Also, have you ever used a NDLR?

I have not but was researching. Found more unfavorable chatter than favorable.
