Channel points can be used for channel point rewards, like the fart gates and such. So they have some meaning within the channel.

Funny story about the sh*t king tale. After Doug's brother told this story on stream every stream after that started with someone sending a TTS message saying "All hail the sh*t king!". That until that infamous KZbin new rule of not allowing cursing in the first 10 seconds of a video, wich caused more than half of his vods saved on KZbin getting demonetized in a single day. He then asked for people to stop doing that but admited that was "pretty funny".

and Doug once had a "great" idea where he wears diapers on one of the streams and LITERALLY SHITS HIMSELF ON STREAM, and the after a while he says he did and the person who can identify the moment it happened gets something. Glad he abandoned that idea

The stream will probably be in a few weeks, and then it'll probably take 1 or 2 months before the video comes out. 9:15 Having that image on screen is a randomized challenge here, but it was actually the focus of "Mario Speedrun, but every 5 minutes the HUD gets worse", where he added a new HUD to the screen every 5 minutes until it turned into that monstrosity. 19:44 No no, channel points are something you get passively by watching a stream on twitch. I think usually you get 10 point every 5 minutes just for having the stream open, every 15 minutes you can click a loot chest for 50 channel points (to check if you're actively watching), and I think around 300 for every consecutive stream you watch or when participating in raids. At any point in this video when Doug talks about gambling away money, he means channel points. You can buy certain on-stream rewards for channel points (like the Zorbeez ad) but they're mostly insignificant, so it's funny to bet using them and talk like you're gambling away your life savings. 27:37 Pointcrow party is great. This never actually happened (according to Doug, *wink wink*) but the joke lives on. Nice video. I kind of have this problem where my comments always get too long winded, and I think that might have happened here. Oops. Today also marks the day I gave you 2€ for a channel membership for the first time, so that's pretty cool. Kbye.

9:12 Going to point out the monstrosity you're looking at here isn't originally from the zelda randomizer, it's from a Mario Odyssey speedrun he does (on his main channel) where every 5 minutes he adds a new UI element from a completely random game. That's what it looks like by the end of the video It's here because in the zelda randomizer video he rolls for 2 debuffs, and death means you have to restart the run. One of the debuffs is putting the finished UI screen on for the run

In a true "I was there" fashion I got the "Laundry Alarm" live, that was amazing and is probably my favorite dougdoug moment. You have to watch the full VOD of the "I made an AI play a children's game" it's 10 hours long and you'll need meds for the muscle strains from laughing so hard
