I met them when they came around. Everybody had already left the venue and they came back out on stage to start packing up. Some genuinely nice dudes. One of the best concerts I've been too.

Perfect gear! :) Behringer X32 is a really good deal (yeah soundguy here). The difference between your tone and other band tones live during this tour was there. Axe Fx going straight into the PA se you kill all the phase problems right away and kill all the wedge mix leaking everywhere.

I have that exact same o-zone crash. I bought it in 2008. Jesus, 10 years strong. That thing is a beast, and I just made a stack out of it with my Sabian AAX 8" splash that I've had for about as long, if not longer. Fat as fuck.

I guess what I mean is that it would be cool imo if they wrote some new songs and then recorded themselves in the studio playing live as a full band like bands used to do in the 70s haha, I know that wont happen because a musician wants to get the best preformance possible when it comes to new material but it would be interesting imo, especially through this setup.

So.. with this mixer you use ethernet from a behringer snake on stage i'd assume. HOW do you do that in venues? Are the set up for that with long ethernet cables running or do you do it yourself? Like on the ground running from a snake to the console.. ?

They press play on both devices at the exact same time. It takes years of practice to perform this act and can only be done by ultimate prog masters. no idea tho

bit late, but there is just one laptop, the macbook running cubase. as he said in the beginning, pro tools on the other laptop was only used to record, it receives the 32 channels from the behringer thing and records them to a pro tools session.
