RIght Angle Weave with Bugles - Beaded Bracelet with Seed bEads and Bugles

This is yet another mini master class in right angle weave. We've looked at right angle weave a number of times previously to this youtube video - but always with round beads. I love how the introduction of slender bugle beads has opened up the weave, giving it a 'lacy' feel. The bracelet is made using one length of thread working from the left to the right hand side - no pesky joining of motifs together!
The materials used in the creation of this bracelet are:
4mm Fire Polish Beads - Cobalt Blue
3mm Fire Polish Beads - Metallic Turquoise
Miyuki Slender Bugles - Metallic Bronze
Miyuki 11/0 Seed Beads - Duracoat Galvanised Gold

Great design, and I would not have thought of combining the royal blue and turquoise. Thanks too, for the excellent and unhurried instructions. This stitch is the foundation for so many designs! I have also heard the four beads referred to as the ceiling, floor, and walls. The addition of the bugle beads adds creativity to this design. THANKS SO MUCH from the USA!

Sometimes you go through the 11/0 and sometimes you don't. That part is a bit unclear, but otherwise the instructions are very good. This is such a pretty design with lovely colors. Thanks!

I've had another look - and I'm not sure where you mean...whenever you're adding a new section of right angle weave, you're exiting a fire polish bead and then moving one, you move through your beads to your next connection point - if that involves moving through an 11/0, then you should otherwise thread will show outside of the design....x

Hello Jo, I have made four of this lovely bracelet design with right angle weave and I was wearing one and a friend said she'd like to gift one to another friend but she'd like a pair of earrings that would go with it. Have you a tutorial on a pair of earrings that would go with this bracelet? Doesn't have to be matchy matchy but something that would compliment the bracelet. Please let me know as I would love to make a set for her.❤

Wonderful! WoW!!!! You have been a busy bee Virginia! I'm thrilled that you've enjoyed this design sooooooo much. I have number of earring tutorials on my channel - but I don't know that any of them would compliment this actual design. There's a playlist of earring tutorials on the channel which might enable you to see the different patterns quite quickly. However; how about taking one 'strip' / section of this bracelet - i.e. a rectangle from the fire polish beads either side incorporating 2 bugle beads as the sides - you could then add a pretty dangle to the base and a couple of seed beads up to the ear wire. I'm afraid I'm away for a a little while otherwise I'd try and get on uploaded for you - but I've added it to my list for when I return! x
