Our deer season ended on January 1st here in Indiana. I hunted my target buck until the very end. Shot him right at dark on December 31. Left a family Christmas get together at my parents to try for him yet another time. Anyhow, arrowed him at dark a bit far back. Recovered him on the last day of season at 2pm. Hunted for him until the bitter end. Don't ever give up on something you really want

Awesome vid one of the few guys I can watch for hours even if you don't always kill. Even at 60 years old been hunting my whole life I still pick up little tips and tidbits from you. Our season here in Kentucky ended January 16th and I've been depressed ever since lol I have been doing some scouting and getting ready to start shed hunting here pretty soon. Who am I kidding I never turn it off. I'm either scouting, hunting or getting ready to hunt , if I'm not doing one of those three I'm thinking about it.

I like the point you made about seeing tracks in the snow.I live here In Southern Iowa and we shotgun hunt several pieces of private land.We were headed to a different spot when I had noticed some pretty recent tracks in the snow that was in the ditch headed onto property I could hunt.We set up a small push and got one out of a real little patch.If I had not seen the tracks I probably would have overlooked that spot.

Support from Southern Indiana. Pheasants are one of the first things I ever hunted with my single shot 4/10 and I got super fast and could get two birds if the chance was there. I loved it but it was when I moved from indiana to Iowa for four years and came back home when I was 12 and haven’t got to hunt them since and I am 43 yesterday. I love and have passion for whitetail but pheasant was probably the funnest which I’m sure it was because of the age and one of the first thing hunting where I got to go out with dad and his buddies.

It gets brutal in late season but field edges works good for me at that time of year I feel like I'm bumping the deer out if I go in deep . But finding the right feeding field can be difficult too. It was good to see another video. And them roosters were beautiful.

Cat Camo Calico on a scratching post might work. Keep pushing deeper when you spot a purple balloon might be a transitioning buck zone. I have pictures of it from throught the season... Just finally got him back on cam giving me confidence he is still alive. A lot of my biggest bucks were shot because of in season or just after season scouting the year before. It has worked out real well for me in the past.

An hour of you walking to your stand and saying, "they bed there and come out there." And then post a clickbaity title, "right to the bitter end", with a nice buck in the thumbnail. You could've cut this down to 20 min highlighting the last hunts (big rubs, fresh sign, and deer encounters) learn to edit... and leave this comment up also to show that you can engage in discourse
