There names are Bill Medley ( dark hair) and Bobby Hatfield ( blonde hair). They were fantastic. And no auto tune. Back then either you could sing or you couldn't. These guys could sing.

No, they aren’t real brothers. They were performing in the south, very early in their career, (before they had chosen a name for themselves), and someone in the audience shouted that they were “righteous” brothers and so they became The Righteous Brothers. 😊😊😊😊

No they are not actually Brothers and they got the name righteous Brothers when some black guys heard them sing and told him they were righteous so they went with that as a name not sure if that's the God's honest truth but that's the story we were told over the years the two that you were just watching where Bill medley and Bobby Hatfield the most famous but other members over the years were Bucky heard and two Jimmy Walker's

Marines (especially one) from the El Toro Marine base in Southern California started calling them righteous brothers. They needed a name when they recorded Little Latin Lupe Lu as a duo, without the rest of the Paramours, Bobby suggested they use the name the marines were calling them. When Bill left the duo for several years, Jimmy Walker replaced him. Bobby and Bill were back together from 1974-1976. Then they got back together in 1982 (I think) and performed together until Bobby's death in November 2003. A few years later Bucky Heard joined up with Bill.
