As a result, their population ratio has naturally decreased to some extent. Let us consider an example: if there are 10 people living in a locality, with 8 being Muslims and 2 being Hindus, the percentage would be 80% Muslims and 20% Hindus. After 5 years, if each of the 8 Muslims has 2 children, their population would grow to 24 people (16 + 8). In comparison, if the 2 Hindus have 1 child each, their population would increase to 4 people. After 10 years, the Muslim population would be around 64, while the Hindu population would be approximately 10 or 11. In this case, the Muslim percentage would rise to around 86.49%, while the Hindu percentage would decrease to approximately 13.51%. This decline in the Hindu population does not imply that they have migrated to India. It is challenging to obtain precise data from 1971 to 2024. However, some trends can be observed based on available statistics. Bangladesh was created in 26th March 1971 when Bangladesh declared independence and formed an interim government of which Tajuddin Ahmed was the inaugural Prime Minister. India joined the war officially in December 1971 after Pakistan had attacked Indian sovereign territories and naval bases for aiding Bangladeshi interim government and mukti-forces (liberation forces). You are in conflict of your words here. When will you understand that we do not like you undermining our liberation efforts. You helped us, thank you, kudos, salute to your brave officers, we’re friends. You won your war with Pakistan in 1971 and as a result Pakistan had to give up all claims on Eastern Front and recognize the Bangladeshi government which they did not in the 9 months of war. Just stop saying “you created Bangladesh”. You had the opportunity to keep Bengal to yourselves in 1947 which you failed. Yes, we all, Bangladeshis, well acknowledge and appreciate the role of India and the support they extended during our liberation. But it doesn't mean India created Bangladesh. The independence of Banglesh and the separation of East Pakistan from Pakistan is a long process-led happening. It was done through a complete citizens' movement and participation. India's support during this process expedites the separation and independent of Bangladesh. But if say, you created Bangladesh, it implies a purpose that you created Bangladesh as another colony like Sikim. The media remains silent on the ongoing attacks on Hindus since August 5th. Every single day, somewhere, someone's house or temple is being burned. Yet, there is no coverage. There is a widespread misconception that India will come to our rescue if an open genocide occurs. Personally, I loved my country, but from my childhood through my university years, I witnessed the deep-seated hatred that many Muslims harbor towards Hindus and our religion. This experience has, over time, filled me with resentment towards many of the people in this country. I have wanted to leave Bangladesh for a long time, but my father, a senior advocate, expects me to follow in his footsteps and take over his chamber, having guided me to pursue a law degree. However, I’ve known for over a decade that this country is a ticking time bomb. I used to post on social media saying that Bangladesh was on the path to becoming 'Banglaistan,' and now, that prediction is becoming a reality. In truth, we Hindus have never been happy here, and now, the situation has become unbearable. Despite my love for my religion and pride in being Sanatani, I am saddened by the lack of unity among us, even though we have been suffering for over 100 years. There’s so much more I could say, but it’s difficult to express it all here. Yes, I am a Hindu from Bangladesh, and we have never found true happiness here. We always look to India for hope, and we feel pride when India achieves something great. For this, we are often labeled as 'traitors' or 'Indian sympathizers' by the Bangladeshi Muslim community.
