You have to be extremely insecure to force someone to worship your flag ceremony. Display your patriotism your way and don't be so worried about other people. America is a great country because we let people think for themselves and we encourage people to question authority.

Well these men are not forced to do anything. They are free to leave the NFL after their contract is up. Nobody forced these men to play in the NFL, they made a choice and that choice comes certain obligations. It's pretty simply when you think about it. There is a time and place for everything. Protests shouldn't be done on Companies time. There are no victims here just overpaid millionaires wanting to take up fans times with something that has zero to do with football. Questioning Authority would be if the government forced every citizen stand up but the government doesn't force it. I think the issue in America is people believe they are entitled to something and the truth is the worlds doesn't own anyone anything.

I agree with MrGrownman455 here. The football players rights are owned by their teams, therefore they do not have rights to say and do as they please; they merely have privileges (which was the whole point of my presentation in the first place). They are free to quit the NFL, and the next time they attend a sporting event, to take a knee during the anthem--they have that right when their rights are no longer owned by their NFL team.

Can I show up to work whenever I want without consequence? Can I break the rules of my contractual agreement at work without consequence? Standing of the NFL anthem IS a part of their contract.

In my opinion every American has the freedom to do what they would like BUT when you enter into an agreement with another person or a corporation you are signing over some of your rights for a certain amount of time and being paid for it. These men do not have to play football and nobody is forcing them to stay in the league. There is a time and place for everything but if I'm paying someone then I'm not paying them to talk about their beliefs or what they're dealing with. Do you want your Waiter to talk about his wife leaving him for another man while he is taking your order? I know I don't. I think the moral to this story is leave your personal BS at the door and do what you're paid to do.

The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a corporation and you are it's employee No different than the NFL and it's players That is where rights come from if not from GOD
