What has me torn is whether or not the light is to be trusted. Because acording to alot of gnostic angles, the light is a trick to either imprison you, or bring you back into the reincarnation loop. But then things like the Bardo Thodol say that the light represents transcendance and enlightenment and lets you break free from this lower plane.
