Rigid Industries flood lights on Versys 650, 2017

Installing Rigid Industries flood lights on 2017 Kawasaki Versys 650.
Using NAPA relay and relay plug.
Wiring, relay, cover removal and switch.

Can I use my relay from the original kawasaki, the one you use to install the 12Volt charger. I mean I alredy have one relay plugged in my bike, I think I don't need to use any other relays

Paul if I understand you are using a relay to power your lights, You would need an amp fuse large enough on the wire going to the battery but the wire from switch to relay only needs to be I believe a couple amps as it doesn't carry a load except for the trigger coil in the relay. Plus your switch also does not carry much of a load so it could be a switch rated much smaller. But anyway looks nice I'm a bit surprised LED floods draw that kind of amps.

That is correct that the switch could be lower amperage rated. I selected this switch mostly because of the illumination, size and apperance. As is John Fossum surprised these 8 LEDs draw 2.5 amps each at 12 volts. My bike coil outputs a little over 13.5 amps so my 5 amp draw shouldn't starve the bike for power.
