Grandissima tecnica, molto bravo, ma il risultato è lo stesso di quando noi Italiani cerchiamo di swingare. È proprio una questione di mentalità, modo di parlare, il fraseggio di Verdi.......i clarinetti da 0.38 😭

Look at that technique! He makes it look so effortless. It's no easy feat to sweep the music like that. And the way he let the music escape the horn at 5:24 is glorious

Its a bass clarinet not a horn
@jacobbass6437
@jacobbass6437 4 жыл бұрын
꧁IceOfPhoenix꧂. A horn is just any instrument that is hollow and you blow through that has a mouthpiece. So saxes are horns, trumpets are horns, flutes are not horns. Usually in an orchestra, horns refer to french horns, but the general term applies in a lot of places.

Exquisite! Mr. Lowenstern is perhaps the most accomplished bass clarinetist of our age. It's not just the instrument that makes his playing to be unrivaled. He would sound quite good on a plastic Bundy with leaks and bad pads. The man makes the horn. The horn does not make the man!
