I have always been a huge fan of racing games, right through all the NFS range of games, when I used to play it on my PC. A decade and a half later when I started thinking about Sim Racing during covid, it excited me, but it was not easy as burning a CD to get started. So I decided to build myself a rig that suited my space and needs; needless to say it involved hours of phone calls with experts, vendors, friends, and more.
I had to assemble parts, import a few, and even customize and improvise on a few.
A quick summary would look like this:
Multiple AutoCAD Drawings, Sourcing the rig material
Assembling [The nuts, bolts, and patience] Upgrading PS4 - PS5, Upgrading parts sourced from 3 different Continents, 6 months of labor and coordination
PS: There are readily available rigs you can purchase, but I wanted to customize things that suited the space I had and worked for me.
Do hit me up if you would like to know how I went about it.
