@@gangstahhh The Logitech DD feels good but IMO there are better options for the money. The Logitech ecosystem also seems dead. Other than a shifter no options for a different wheel style. Consider the Moza R12 wheelbase with Moza KS wheel is $840. Add in Moza CRP pedals for %460 and total Moza setup is $1300. Logitech Pro DD is $1000 + Logitech G Pro pedals $349 the total is $1349. With Moza you can also change the wheel and they have a good assortment of accessories-shifter, handbrake. Maybe Logitech will have more wheels in the future. The worse part about the G Pro for me is the location of the rotary knobs. The left one more awkward than the right one. As a racer that may adjust brake bias for different corners the angle and location of this knob meant I had to move my hand longer than on other wheels or not at all as some wheels this adjustment is a thumb wheel.

I just dropped $5k on a Simagic rig. I think this hobby is really going to take off this year. I hope we see some more simcade games with great physics, like GT7, with fun career modes to get people the skills to compete as well as fun muliti-player. It's a lot more forgiving and enjoyable than dropping into Assetto Corso and failing constantly (though they have a new career mode as well I've learned). The real issue with sim racing games is the massive player drop-off after launch, it seems long term sim racers always trend back to the old tried and true games rather than the new stuff. I really hope next year has some great stuff because this year forza, wrc and the crew were all pretty disappointing on launch for all the hype they had. I have hope for wrc but knowing how long it took dirt 2.0 to get to where its at and the fact that it's more fun has me trending back to the old tried and true whenever I boot up the pc.

Brackets for the seat. What you want to do is switch the left to the right and right to the left. Then the 80/20 that holds the seat, spread it out more so the brackets fit on top of it again. This is how you get your seat to tilt back more and have the front come up higher. No more bolts hitting the underside of your seat. I hope this helps.

Love seeing the sim racing stuff on the channel. You REALLY need to give some oval racing a chance in iRacing. It gets really intense and is very fun. I have a Simagic Alpha Ultimate and I love it. Having over 20nm of torque sounds like overkill but it’s nice to have that extra dynamic range for those things that give sharp jolts like curbs and wrecks. Plus the stronger motors tend to have more detail in the smaller effects too. I also have the Sprint pedals and they have been great but I think I’m going to try the Simagic P1000 pedals next with the hydraulic brake and the actuators for traction control, ABS, and such. Nothing like turning off the lights in a triple monitor rig and doing some wheel to wheel racing.

With only around £1000 to spend, I went for a T300RS GT Edition £350, TH8A Shifter £120, Next Level Racing F-GT Lite Rig £220 & a TM Ferrari F1 SF1000 Wheel for £320. If you really want the best value and performance for that price and have it all, you cannot go wrong with this setup. Hell you could even just go for the T300RS GT Edition & the F-GT Lite and you'll get the best experience for the money spent. Thrustmaster have such a brilliantly smooth feel thanks to the dual belt driven system in the wheel servo (base) compared to Logitech grinding and offputting gears. Plus you're literally stuck with that tiny wheel forever. With a servo you enjoy you can buy a GT/Rally Sparco Wheel, Ferrari F1/Roadster Wheels, different pedals incl. a load cell if you like, shifters, brake lever's and it will all work as long as it is a Thrustmaster product. I would love to go all out on a true DD system like this, but this setup is like basically £5000 easily. Plus you'll have to deicate an entire room to it forever, and the parts will lose their value. For my setup tho I get to be able to fold it up, change wheels, really great force feedback for a non-DDrive setup and it's pretty comfortable over long sessions as well as being able to change seating positions to a GT Mode or a F1 Mode in like 5mins of tool less adjustment. Each to their own though, but for casual/beginners with the budget of a new 55" mid-range Oled, save your money go for a foldable rig and a t300rs *GT* edition (much better pedals than the standard t300) that you can upgrade cheaply over time. Then if you finally feel like stepping up, you know what it's all about and will get a decent amount back especially if you keep all your original boxes for each part, then move onto a DD Moza or Fanatec in the future with the insane rig & accessories. The hobby is basically as expensive as you want it to be. My ultimate plan is to move on from the T300RS to the top TM wheel at some point, keep my F1 wheel & shifter and also upgrade to a new foldable rig, but right now living in a pretty small apartment you gotta work within your means!

Wow Dude!!! I didn't know you where into sim racing!! Welcome man, Hope to see you on iRacing. I started on the same rig and then I just went full custom. My next big upgrade is a Simucube Active Pedal from my break pedal. I know this video is 5 months old and maybe you already have one, but if you dont, look into them. I will be checking back on ya. Stoked your sim racing!

I have a thrustmaster TSPC racer I love it And Fanatec V3 pedals and a openwheeler v3 cockpit with seat risers and all the add on mods they offer , seat cover , seat belts 4 point , lumbar support and head pillow . Its my flight sim and racing rig

They should have a FFB lock out mode so kids can have a chance to try out the rig. Adults are regularly injured by improper direct drive handling too, so these demos should always be under staff supervision anyway.

G920 is gear driven.. neither belt nor direct... old tech from g25 if not mistaken.

The simucube stuff micro center has is top notch

Micro center needs a store in every state. There isn't one here in Montana and it drives me nuts

Nice starter-setup😁 I've the same base, but with 7 shakers, SimXperience G-Seat and G-Belt and other stuff like h-shifter, sequential shifter, handbrake, Pimax 8KX etc.

US$150 for a simple stand is straight out extortion. Love more sim stuff.
@thebluestig265411 ай бұрын
That's not extortion, the stuff that Podium 1 makes is extortion. Up to $60,000 Dollars for their highest end triple screen moving chair sim rigs.

Move the kill switch to your knee area.. if the wheel starts spinning and your hands are caught in the wheel, you can tap the stop with you knee.

i've built three sim rigs out of wood that do all of the same things as this, it costed me $40 and each rig was built to the exact measurements of each person's irl racecar. ofc each rig has triple monitors, a real Bride seat, and full fanatec hardware, but still. work smarter, not harder.

If you are wanting to fit better peddle faces to the Heusinkveld Sprint's (I found my peddle faces started to hurt my feet in endurance races) look into the HRS peddle faces. They are amazing quality, made right here in Australia and are based off of the V8 Supercar peddles. They look great and are far less taxing on your feet (I use rubber based sim socks).

Just sold my Fanatec belt driven rig and pedals and went with a Moza R9, KS wheel and Heusinkveld Sprint pedals. Using a couple year old Rseat rig and a 48” LG OLED.

Okay, right off the bat; G920, cog driven, not belt driven. You can kinda put them in the same overall category, meaning they're a step below direct drive and offers force feedback, but not the best overall strength or detail, but there are minor differences. Second, the thrustmaster wheels shown don't even have force feedback. Thrustmaster does have wheels you would consider a step above Logitech's cog driven offerings, but that ferrari wheel and the T80 are not. Sorry to get all ranty so early. I know it's easy to mix things up when you're shooting on site, ad-libbing as you go, but those are important distinctions to make.

Anyone checking out the TK Bundle it's a great value for a rig. Having the triple screen mount included in for the price of p1x.
