Hi, my cuz has type 3 wavy curly hair& I’m typ 4 coily. The gel layed, slayed her hair her curls& waves were on swim with definition@ it defined my coils as well& surprisingly gave strong hold on my type 4 hair. My rotine started with melanin hair care clarifying shampoo, then rich 1s shampoo, rich1s deep conditioner, then the jelly gel. I agree, it’s like the 3&4 hair has 2 b squeaky clean 4 u 2 c definition& hold.

I just got the shampoo, bond repair conditioner and strong hold gel. I get what you mean about the smell. Haven't used them yet, but the shampoo fragrance seems really strong & I hope the smell doesn't linger. The smell of the gel seems ok, like some days it'll annoy me, some days it'll be tolerable

The scent definitely lingers. Especially the shampoo. I feel the same. One day I cannot stand the smell, the next it’s meh. Not horrible but not great lol my kids liked it though

Well, Rihanna doesn’t have coarse type 4 hair herself. I think her hair products are more geared towards looser curls like her own. She has more of a 2c-3a texture.
