Man she's definitely come a long way since this interview. She's definitely had a really interesting career. I just saw a documentary about her called Good Girl Gone Bad and it talked a lot about her roots and upbringing. Definitely a must see if your a Rihanna fan!

I love this chick .. i love rihanna... im so proud that a young female artists from one of the smaller islands made it so big...people are so quick to say that people from the caribbean are faking their accent when they are talking to an american but what they dont seem to realize is that if we spoke in our 100% caribbean accents u wouldnt understand anything!!.. so duh shes just trying to speak in a fashion that can be understood .. stop hating... shes great.. i hope she keeps rising..

Leave RhiRhi alone it's not her fault that her accent has changed I am an island girl myself big up to St.Lucia and I have been here since I was a teenager I am now in my late 20's and I had to americanise the way I speak because when I spoke in my normal way people who never understand me so I had to change the way I speak or have people continually asking me what was I saying or could I speak slower. I say when in Rome do as the romans. I also miss the old rhi instead of this punk rock chick.
