😢 This song brings back memories of my family when we all got together for all celebrations. How does life turn on a dime? I moved to the CA. Coast from the Central Valley. After divorcing my first Love. I met someone, had a baby, had a successful career and adopted my other baby. A cow dog named Bailey. After 12 years I moved back home. Everything had changed! My sisters ignored me. My older brother died mysteriously. Then my Dad, who was my hero as a child, started VERBALLY ABUSING ME! I was always there to care for him after numerous surgeries anyway. Then came COVID. My Dad & his friends tested positive in Dec. 2020. I never left his side until the ambulance finally took him away. I went home to find my other brother passed out on the cold ground. AGAIN I called the ambulance. They refused to take him. Then I started feeling bad. My daughter rushed a Nebulizer to me. I took it next door to my brother. As I was slowing fading I kept checking in on my brother. That night he too was taken to the hospital. My last words to him were "I'll care for your cats". They both passed away ... a few weeks apart. I healed eventuallly. Bailey was always with me to lick the tears off my face. In Feb. 2021 I had to tell her GOODBYE!!! ❤ The past 3 years have been HELL. My daughter recorded Dancing in the Sky by Dani & Lizzie to sing at her Uncle's funeral. This song just brought up all those memories. I also was betrayed by three of my best friends. What Next? I would rather not say. I Thank God for my daughter. And pray that 2024 brings happiness and love into my life.❤❤❤

Man, I dont listen to these sorts of song genre or music but this stings. A personal friend of mine was kidnapped in a different country last year in April. She played this song and said this is how she felt about me and didnt want me to go. The words hurt a bit as my exwife really burned a hole in my heart about women and how they burn people with impunity from the divorce courts, society, etc and without consequence. She said she loved how I was impartial to the rich, poor, homeless where I would sit and talk for hours with them, or kids who were goingn on a path for destruction. She always asked why I help so many people when I was in a bind from divorce financially. I said bc its not about me. This world is what we can do for each other. In 2 days she was gone. I went to look for her and my life was threatened by the streets. For what it's worth, Iris, for that short glimpse of time I knew you, I'll never forget you. I never told you but, I love you.
