You do seem really relaxed despite mixed 'hammering' and Staus - this was my impression from the P2 as well, it is just so relaxing to drive! I had one for two days (the 400ps AWD Variant) and at first, i was actually a bit hesitant to exterior and interior styling. However, the more I drove it, the more I liked it.

Circle K (former Statoil) gas stations are present in the Scandinavian countries, Poland, Baltic countries and also a few locations in Western Russia. I think Ireland has them as well. What’s funny, here in Poland the first Ionity chargers are being build, however they won’t be present at Circle K, but… Shell stations :). Circle K, unfortunately doesn’t invest in charging infrastructure here yet - pity, I like those gas stations, they serve very good hot dogs ;)).

You experienced the same thing I've been doing when driving in Germany. Average speed is quite often slower than in Sweden even if you do flat out on unrestricted sections. There are always so much road constructions and other queues in Germany that slows down the average speed. Love this trip vlog :)

Many EV drivers avoid Ionity because it is super expensive with .79€ /kWh while all other 300kW chargers from EnBW, Fastned and Alego cost about .47€ / kWh with ENBW charging card. EnBW, by far the largest Network is building many super reliable 300kW charging parks with 12 plugs and more. we also dont have as many EVs (%) as Norway yet. 👋

If you buy the Bropass for Öresundsbron you get a big discount and if you also get the little “Bizz” box which lets you pass through it’s really convenient and you also get a discount on the Store Bælt bridge and use the Bizz there too. To get the full effect you need to do both ways on the Öresundsbron though.

Done the route Germany Sweden a couple of times, it doesn’t matter much if you go via ferry or via bridges, it is almost the same price, even if you take the long ferry from Göteborg it is not much more expensive. It depends on how hours do you want to stay on the road. Is good that you took the store belt route, the Highway from Fehmarn to Hamburg is currently a mess ( lots of construction). But it is not that bad when going north.

Loving this series. Interesting to see how the P2 performs in real world with wind, rain and German autobahn. The joy of passing Hamburg haha, always delays.14hrs on the road is about 2hrs more than I'm comfortable with doing while driving far several days in a row. Certainly requires good seats in the car. That high consumption also requires a lot more time at the chargers... Your driving style today is how I've driven fossil cars there several times before. Just not had a chance to do it in an EV just yet. Nice to see what to expect...

I'm amazed by the number of KZbinrs who happily drive along holding a camera and paying less attention to the road. I suppose putting all your faith in airbags is a thing nowadays. BTW, walked from the beach to Nyborg and stopped at that shop at the fuel station a couple of years ago.
@KrisRifa
@KrisRifa 3 жыл бұрын
I’m not looking at the camera while filming, I’m looking at the road or the the screens in the car. I also only film while using auto steer unless I’m driving at low speed. So you are mistaken with your assumption
@ontheroadagainwithvinny931
@ontheroadagainwithvinny931 3 жыл бұрын
@@KrisRifa I stand by my statement. At some point you have to pick up the camera. If you have to take it from the seat next to you, switch it on or do anything that is not part of being in charge of the vehicle, you are not paying enough attention to the road. If you were doing what you said in the UK you would be fined. The rules may be different where you live but doesn't make it any less dangerous. Like I said in my original statement, there are no shortage of people who do it though.
@KrisRifa

@@ontheroadagainwithvinny931 standing by your statement and all it contains just shows that you either don’t understand what auto steer means or are ignoring what I am writing. My guess is needing to get to the hotel in time for editing and enough rest to continue the journey the next day means its better to hammer it when you can in between the traffic and construction to make up the lost time. Think you'll charge that increased consumption back faster than the time you'd loose if just cruising at consumption friendly speeds in the right lane. Had he been able to maintain that same average speed steadily instead without traffic and road works, consumption would have been lower. A 1200km leg with todays conditions was maybe too ambitious?
