@@macros208 David encountered the Angels only once, in Blink. They only sent people back in time, that's how the episode worked. Before the start of the episode, they got the doctor and Martha and sent them back to 1969. The DVD easter eggs the doctor uses to communicate with Sally were created with the help of a cop she asked to investigate the matter. The angels got him and sent him back to 1969 as well where he started working with the doctor and concluded the loop, creating the easter eggs Sally had already seen. The doctor specifically told Sally that they make their victims "live to death". The neck-snapping was all Moffat.

I was curious because I'd never heard of her before. It does seem like the media dogpiled on her for no real reason, it seems like she's harmless, and many people in this world aren't. That said, it also seems like she has a long history of claiming things that turn out not true, ranging from the mundane, to saying she gave money to charity she never gave. It is gross how the media reacted though, it's like they found a somewhat famous person who can't help but lie, and realized they can have constant content by interviewing her, then reporting on the lie and the ensuing controversy, then interviewing her again, then reporting on the new lie, etc. If she was a politician, that would be totally different, than her lies would be really hurting people. But she's just an unwell rich person, who truly has supported a number of charities.

Oof watching that lily Allen thing when Johnathan Ross called her sexy she looked uncomfortable, and how they discussed rape etc this is just so different to now, I mean this was an era where calling someone gay was a part of every conversation
@spracketskooch3 жыл бұрын
That first part is the reaction of being called sexy by someone you don't think the same about. Like if Judy Dench called me sexy in front of a studio audience, I'd be slightly uncomfortable, but if Beyonce did the same thing I'd be beaming with pride. I didn't know calling people gay had ever stopped. You call your straight friends gay, and your gay friends straight. It's about calling someone something they are not to tease them. Just a stupid little throwaway joke that you do with your friends. Also, gay comedians are always doing jokes about having sex with women, and doing over the top macho stuff. It's like a go-to bit. My point is, you have to give people some leeway when they think they're being nice, like Jonathan Ross, and just because you make a joke about something, doesn't mean you hate, or disagree, with it.

British Pantomime. Rather hard to explain but if you look it up you can see examples.
