Riku Is Amazing

It's as the title says, my boy Riku is AMAZING! Let's discuss one of the best character in the Kingdom Hearts series, and his fantastic journey!

I love Riku he is also in my top five characters. I do think that they have some kind of plan for Riku in the future. After all they have given him a new keyblade which has to mean something. It is true I don't really like the look of Brave Heart, but honestly it will either grow on me or it isn't complete yet and will end up looking better in some way. I do kind of like the idea that most keyblades look like they are meant to open or lock something and Brave Heart look more like it is meant for travel. The new keybalde also makes it so that Riku is no longer connected to the gazing eye, even Riku's eyes are looking more green lately which also makes them look less like the gazing eye as well. It is kind of like Riku was once meant to be connected to MoM and now Riku is without thought trowing away all the marks that MoM might have had on him. I have some ideas of what Riku is going to do in the future. First I think that when he finds Sora, Sora is not going to remember him or the relationship that they had is going to be stained in some way. One of the things that really bothers me is that in Remind Sora says that he abused the power of waking six times already. Which just isn't true he abused it seven times. Which means that even before going back again in Remind Sora was already forgetting one of the seven people that he saved in KH3. The person that makes the most sense and even has little hints with word choice is Riku. I am not sure if this will effect Sora or Riku more but it most likely will be part of both of their new arcs if it ends up being true in any way. Now as for who Riku's new main Antagonist is going to be. I don't think it will be MoM or Luxu as I said before Riku seems to be casting off most if not all the similar traits that he shares with them. I is true that Riku is a lot like Terra who in turn is a lot like Aced but I also don't think that Riku is going to mirror Aced as Riku has kind of outgrown the kind of mirror Aced would be. Ira is more a mirror for Isa or Aqua and I don't really see much of Riku in Ira though several people have said they are alike. If Yozora is going to be an antagonist he and Riku might be a very good match but I don't think it will really take more then one or two games before Yozora and Nameless Star are saved and as such no longer antagonist if they ever where in the first place. No if anything it is most likely that Riku will be mirroring Darkness(race) most likely a leader of some sort. We really don't know much about them nor even what they look like but it makes a lot of sense for RIku to continue to explore good darkness which he and the Spirit Dream Eaters use and Malice corrupted darkness which seems to make things like heartless and nightmares. Now as to what I think Darkness(race) is. They seem to be Beings that are able to hide within people, shapeshift to look like people, and seem to be on the opposite of war that MoM seems to be fighting. It seems very likely to me that MoM and the leader of this Darkness(race) are both going to be villains in the next saga and both of their viewpoints are bad for the world. It is very likely that Vanitas is one of these beings but there is enough confusion over him that I can not be sure. I also have to wonder if Dillan and Aleaus are silent at the moment because they have been replaced or possessed by these creatures. Anyway seeing as MoM is most likely going to be Sora's main villain for the next saga, Riku having the leader of the Darkness(race) makes a lot of sense to me. There is also the possibility that Riku will have a villain from Yozora's world that we just haven't seen yet but that seems a lot less likely then my other idea.

Brave Heart better get better, because it hasn't grown on me yet at all. For Riku's connections to the Gazing Eye, I feel like it would be great for him to confront the MoM about it after he learns what it is. I like the idea of Riku conflicting with the darkness race because it would be perfect for his finished arc. For the possible replacements of characters by the darkness race, that would be cool. I feel like Riku's fight with their leader would be amazing to watch, wielding their own power against them.

@@thatguywithapencil I am not so sure that the Darkness(race) is using darkness(element). Or rather they are but not in the same way that Riku does, What do I meant by that? Well one of the things that is really odd to is that Dream Eaters are beings of darkness(e) both Spirits and Nightmares. Chirithies are also Dream Eaters and so they must also be beings of darkness. If this is the case and they are bonded with their wielders then why would their wielder having darkness turn them into a nightmare? The answer is that it wouldn't there is something else going on. So I looked closer at what MoM said about Charities turning into Nightmares. "if a wielder is overcome with Malice or rather if their heart is tainted with darkness". That sounds like a slip to me. It isn't the darkness that turns the Chirithy into a Nightmare it is the Malice. I think that a long time ago Darkness and Light where more or less peaceful with each other and then something called Malice came and corrupted most of the element of darkness. When you add the idea that Sleep (a realm under the power of darkness) is used for healing. Worlds and people that need healing fall into sleep. Or how Dream Eaters can both be corrupted and healed of this Malice it seems logical that I am on the right track. However it is Riku that really makes me think that Darkness(e) and Malice are to different things even though over time people seem to have forgotten it. Riku at the beginning of the story has people give him Malice corrupted darkness several times and it overtakes him and even changes his shape. Then at the end of KH2 the Light of KH burns the Darkness and Malice out of him. However it doesn't work for long because he has been open to darkness for so long that it comes back even if he doesn't want it to. Thankfully before he is able to be corrupted by Malice again he goes to the realm of sleep where he becomes a Dream Eater. Something that naturally has a way to filter the Malice and Darkness. He subconsciously learns this ability and becomes closed off not from darkness which he still uses but from Malice. Which means that even if others could give him darkness powers he would likely filter out the Malice and return the darkness to it's natural and more peaceful state. This Darkness(r) that have appeared are either Beings of darkness(e) that have become corrupted by Malice to the point they don't even have their own form anymore. Or they are beings of Malice that have been pretending to be something they are not.
