I kinda love how Marcus Windhager stopped Neale winning the Brownlow medal this year, hoping next year is special for the saints

How do you know he stopped Neale? Neale was off that game and spent a lot on the bench beacuse of calf issues.

Bailey Fritsch not only deserves a spot due to his forward craft, but that hairstyle surely makes him a certainty for the top 50

Cam guthrie is extremely unlucky to miss out on the top 20 let alone the top 50. You have spuds like bolton at 13, who is a pretty mediocre in my opinion but can't fit in guthrie. I think it should be cripps or cameron at the number one spot. Oliver got helped out a lot by having the best ruckman in the comp tapping it to him the whole year, cripps on the other hand had a young key forward being turned into a ruck because pittonett was out for most of the year.

Yeah I rated Guthrie's year, was very consistent and under the radar. Really close from putting him. Hard to fit everyone it, but I would be flexible to include him in the top 50. Many different opinions about Shai and I respect yours but his x factor and impact is special. I get what you mean with Oliver, but he's extremely good on getting his own ball as well.

I hate how people say if you win the Brownlow you’re automatically the best player… no, it’s a midfielders award, as much as Cripps deserved to win it this year, Petracca took votes of Clayton, and Lachie got some votes taken off him by McCluggage and Lyons. While Cripps didn’t really have anyone to compete with as Walsh and Cerra didn’t really steal votes.

Depends on who wins it. If it’s like a clear cut best player like a 2017 dusty, then yeah. Besides coaches association is a more accurate award too. Nothing against cripps had a cracking year.

@@RilesMacca It's OK, it's only an opinion and a lot of AFL fans don't rate Cam Guthrie, but Geelong supporters know how effective he is, and the fact that he tied with Cameron says a lot about his season. I don't often agree with Mark Robinson, but I think he got Guthrie's position in his top 50 about right.

Go for the swannies man, Oliver is the best inside midfielder IMO so sometimes his ball use can be average, neales is worse than his in comparison. Also very hard for Oliver to be polling top 3 with petracca and gawn taking votes off him.
