Riley Lee Music: Riley Lee plays Cascading Waterfall / Takiotoshi 尺八 滝落

The Japanese name for this shakuhachi honkyoku is Takiochi no Kyoku (滝落の曲) This version was transmitted by Yokoyama Katsuya. I think it has everything that I love about these pieces. The shakuhachi used is 2.7 (G), made by Sogawa. Recorded in Taplin Auditorium, Princeton University 2016

Thank you Martin, for your (overly?) generous words. :-) This performance is now six years old (2022 as I write this) and in a way, I can no longer take credit for it. The goal for the "I" that is me now, is to play that piece well today. Humm.... I'd best go and practice!
