I love Project Hail Mary! It made me laugh and cry. Could you do a spoiler video about it because I'm curious about what trope you love that's in that book. My favorite book this year is a tie between The Library of Legends by Janie Chang and Fight Club (reread) by Chuck Palahniuk. I'm adding several of your books to my tbr for 2022. I listened to the audiobook of A Dowry of Blood. Abby Craden does an outstanding job of narrating the beautifully written lyrical prose. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As a rule, I don’t do re-reads but I will definitely be re-visiting this one in 2022.

The hundred thousand kingdoms is my favorite book by NK Jemisin! You have to read the whole trilogy, truly amazing. I also loved project Hail Mary and they never learn!!

Project Hail Mary is definitely my fav non-romance book I read this year - it's so funny and shocking and truly fantastic! I've never even heard of Hench but it sounds amazing, I might have to literally go order that right now, I haven't read very many superhero books considering what Marvel trash I am.

My absolute favorites this year were Project Hail Mary, Hollow Places and Blindsight by Peter Watts! The last one is a space horror with vampire and semi-vampires as a crew - so good!
