I can’t imagine having a strong attachment to hair, since I’ve never had it much longer than shoulder length, and when I went to pixie, even though I didn’t like it, I didn’t get emotional over it. That must be really tough to deal with though, since I know for a lot of girls it’s a very important part of them. You still look rlly pretty with it at that length, and at least all your dead ends are gone, so it feels thicker and healthier. It looks cute!

For me it was learned I guess. Mom didn't let me even trim it. A little trim would cause her to make a fuss. I got grounded for cutting it (from BUTT TO WAIST), I was caught cutting my hair and got my scissors confiscated by my crying mother so I couldn't cut the rest (it happened this quarentine). I want a lob cut. SO nervous. But mom is outside the country. And it's quarentine. Here we go.

Your shorter version hair does so much more for you. You look like your a senior and a young woman ready to be taken seriously for college. Your long hair was lovely but with the bounce more movement with shorter version it makes your personality shine through. I don't have attachement to my hair. It is long because it is straight and heavy and I can't do anything with it, when it's short I look like a mop. so every 2 years I cut a double what you did and it grows back with revenge, even stronger and fuller and I like it like that (or got used to it) but I do love the feeling you expressed at the end when you can go through it without being stuck hahaha and my head and neck thank me for taking off the weight off. I cut it before the bug and now it's under my ass again.. annoying. btw I got to the professional and sometimes they mess it up and I have escalators lol don't worry it will grow back.
