It's cool but some jobs aren't worth doing. I think this is one of them. It's easier to sit glass or perspex on top to create a paludarium. 3 panels cut to size and some silicone.

I am new to this hobby, thanks to my 9 year old son who insisted on having frogs as pets. So here I am doing my do diligence on researching how this is all done and after hours of video's, I've come across yours. Finally, a step by step guide with each materials used and explained. I couldn't be more excited to have come across your video's. Thank you for informing us of the type of materials used to create such masterpieces! I have indeed subscribed to your channel and will be watching all your videos. By the way, your work is amazing.... so inspiring. Me and my son will be starting soon, now that I have a better understanding of the types of materials needed and a guide on how to create our own Masterpiece. ❤ thanks for your video's.

I work for a glass shop myself so cutting glass is extremely normal to me. You could’ve gone to any glass shop and had all the pieces cut to size for you for probably 20$. Then you could’ve saved yourself all that time 😂 you weren’t saving any money buying a pre built tank. Great build non the less just a tip for future reference.

That would defeat the purpose of the video as it’s a DIY video.

To keep it out of the water! It was the easiest, highest chance-of-success method. If the soil a bonsai sits in is constantly wet, it will die.

with the time spent on the glass, why not just buy some panes and make it from scratch?
@NaturescapesByRocco4 жыл бұрын
Great question! A few reasons: All of the glass necessary is already thick enough and comes from a $20 tank. When I called around to other glass places, the lowest quote I could find for cut glass thick enough was $80. I COULD buy the glass myself, but for it to be thick enough (4-6mm) to hold water, it would cost me much more than $20!
@benwilliams89244 жыл бұрын
