I LOVE this foundation. One of my favourite drug store foundations. I have combo skin with very enlarged pores and it just makes me look so healthy. It’s not heavy, it blends really well and I don’t seem to have issues with it oxidising considering I’m very pale. I do set it with a tiny bit of setting powder as it is a bit dewy but I generally always set my foundation lightly anyway.

I tried the concealer that is available alongside the foundation. It felt creamy to apply but emphasised dryness almost immediately after setting. The coverage was not high, yet the product oxidised on my skin.

I tried the previous incarnation of this foundation a few years ago. For info I have super dry/eczema prone/menopausal skin so I rarely look shiny, but this wasn't good. I'm Scottish with super pale skin and it went orange and glittery, so it wasn't good on me and I'm really dry. I didn't use as much so transfer wasn't so problematic, but the glitter and the oxidation was. I don't think they've improved the formula by the looks of things so a hard pass. Thanks for the review and it did make me smile - sound effects, facial expressions etc. Be well and best wishes.

You could maybe try Tropic make up, if you haven't already tried it. It's vegan and cruelty free. Great for sensitive skin. I buy mine from Tropics with Francesca. Its amazing stuff. I found the Rimmel foundation changed colour too. Fab video again Gemma!

There's no comparison. The Bourjois serum is smooth, gel-like, dewy and hydrating, and this is creamy and glittery. xxx

Great review thank you. I’m so disappointed with this product that replaced the Wake Me up Foundation. Its nothing like it and it’s so orange! Why does make up oxidise? Any tips to stop it from oxidising? Don’t want to waste the bottle. Also thank you so much for the tip about the suncream never knew it was only minimal cover with foundation. Are there any suncream in moisturisers (that go well under foundation) that you could recommend? PS Not too sure about the new video sound effects, freaked me out a little..

Gemma have you tried that new Wet N Wild Photofocus Dewy Foundation? It is a wonderful one! It doesn't settle in, move, and lasts for hours. Feels great on too. And for a $5 drugstore foundation, it works amazing for that price! I'm 50, a bargain babe, and that's a winner in my book. 🥰

I think you do right not to use a primer when testing a foundation. A product should live up to the manufacturers claims without any additions. 💐💐

The initial foundation application was perfect. Couldn’t see the color difference of your skin and foundation. Don’t usually like one shoulder tops, but you were rocking that one. I think the top looked nice because of the fit. I’ve seen the lose fitting one shoulder tops and they are awful. Stopped by your Instagram hoping to see a full shot of the top but no luck. Also, loved the sound affects. The “boo” was my favorite.

Have yall tried the Believe Beauty foundation from Dollar General? I heard about it and heard about it but never tried it cause I'm so picky about my foundation. And I own alot of different ones lol I finally broke down and thought what the heck it's only $5 but I did not have my hopes up about it.. Yall.........its one of the prettiest foundations I have EVER put on my face... I could seriously get rid of all of mine and just use this on and on...
