Had my first wear test today and I love it! It is really shiny apon application but it does go down after a bit. Still very dewy, but with my older skin, I prefer dewy.

Try mixing the wet n wild original and the wet n wild dewy and see how you like it. I mix different foundations all the the time.

I really think the smell is very subtle and goes away. I love this. It has become my go to on most days. I set it with the Photofocus loose powder. I like applying it with my Tati Blendiful. It last all day even through teaching Zumba classes.

That Elf primer is magic! It’s a must for me with a dewy foundation and I have the Tatcha one which didn’t do a thing for my pores. Love the style of video especially with more expensive foundations.

I have not smelled this foundation for myself but based on the your feedback and some reviews I’m hesitant to take the risk since I can be sensitive to strong smells. I do love the overall dewy appearance. The wear test and the various light exposures were fantastic and I appreciate how honest and forthcoming you are about your face care and how the health of your skin can impact the overall appearance of your foundation. Honestly seeing how vibrant your skin is it has encouraged me to focus on my face care routine. Thank you !

I really like this foundation. I have it in the shade Soft Beige. When I first apply it, I'm thinking this is too light, but it does oxidize after a bit, so finding your correct shade may take trial and error.

I really like the more thorough review and looking forward to more of them. I've been debating about trying this product because I just couldn't get past the stench of the original so I'm happy the dewy version has a better smell. Appreciate your very thorough review and honest thoughts Lisa. I didn’t care for the original version and not sure I’m going to give this one a try. I do like that its dewy though. Your skin is radiant even without the foundation but I prefer one that is more longer wearing. I’m still loving the Maybelline Super Stay, the L’Oréal Infallible and the Pro Glow so I think I’ll stick with those drugstore ones for now. Thanks Lisa; love your eye look here 😍

The new phone picture quality is great. Crisp and clear! I think it looks pretty on you but like you say for short wearing days only. I think I’ll stick to my MAC Face & Body for the glowing sheer look with a far better wear time and consistent performance. Glad you gave it a fair shot over a couple of days. Very helpful.

Ive always been oily. Its not as bad in the winter but ive always went for matte foundations. As ive gotten older i feel like i should give the dew a chance lol. Might give my skin a healthy look. You look beautiful with this look.

Thanks for this thorough review! I’ve been using Lancôme Teint Idole and although it lasts a long time it has a matte finish that makes me look super dry. I have normal to dry skin and rosacea so I need a foundation with good coverage on my cheeks (I have broken capillaries on both cheeks). If I put concealer on my cheeks it shows through most foundation. If I didn’t have the broken capillaries I would love to wear a “natural” coverage foundation. Oh well, you’ve got to play with the hand you’re dealt! Lol

For your rosecia, try taking some good essential fatty acids. Like flaxseed oil, coconut oil, fish oil, orally. It helps with so many different skin and hair conditions. Plus helps your health internally too. Zinc can greatly help too, with skin conditions like rosacea. Jean.

In drug store, I'm totally stuck on Lóreal Tru Match Lumi Foundation. This is different than just Tru Match. I absolutely love it. No scent. Light weight. Perfectly hydrating for my 60+ year old skin. My other foundations aren't drug store but this is my ride or die concealer!!! I'd like to know what the scent is caused from.

Why a company puts fragrance in anything - particularly something as strong as this one seems to be - is beyond me. I really appreciate the thoroughness of this review; it’s so helpful to see a longer trial period. Also, goodness gracious, are you incapable of any bad eye looks? You honestly look so stunning every single time. Hashtag goals, as the kids would say. (Speaking of kids, you made my three-year-old niece do the impossible: stop watching “Frozen.” She saw I was watching you, and then we proceeded to randomly click on vids to her heart’s content. So from my house to yours, thank you for allowing me to not have to listen to “Let It Go” for the 182736th time. ❤️)

Not sure 🤔 it looks really shiny to me and I feel I’d have to put to many layers or a powder over it and I like to keep it as natural as possible, but you always look beautiful in any foundation 😉❤️

Have you tried it with the wet n wild primer that they sent? I'm wondering if the two of them go hand & hand. I know sometimes it doesn't matter what primer you use. I haven't purchased it yet but I have skin on the dry side so I may go ahead & pick it up- its such an affordable foundation so why not__ right😀 Thanks for your review😘

I absolutely LOVE this foundation! I actually haven't even reached for anything else since I bought this. I liked it so much when I originally tried it, that I went back out the next day and bought a few backups in my shade! 😅 Edit: I find that this new one has sort of a "skincare" type smell to it. It's very subtle. Absolutely NOTHING like the original that smells like house paint! LOL.

Lol...I always know as soon as someone applies a foundation and it looks like they just came out of a shower - "dewy"... it's a flop. There's dewy and there's ewy. Then again I'm more inclined to matte foundations with highlighter for a brightening glow, the dewy look everyone refers to just looks wet or sweaty to me. I have a new foundation recommendation for ya! The new Photo Filter foundation from Jentry Kelley cosmetics is AMAZING! I have combo skin and live in hot humid Houston area and it’s been so so so nice!!! It has such a natural finish and you only need a tiny little bit. 💜 it!!! It’s been a dupe for my La Mer foundation.

I like this foundation ether than any of the new release foundations!! It’s my newest favorite, the one I reach for the most, and I have no problems buying the highest end foundations!! It is not scented, meaning they didn’t add fragrance right??? It smells more like the ingredient list to me.... Also, I have normal skin, no acne problems, and I’m 44. So maybe it just works really well for my skin type.

Latex paint. The original smelled like latex paint, not paint thinner. If it smelled like turpentine, I don't think it would be as popular as it is :)

That makeup looked wet and too dewy shiny from the start, as soon as you applied it. And not quite sure why when you test a foundation, why you put SPF or primer on before. If you're testing the wear ability of a foundation, shouldn't it just be applied by itself for a true test? Also wearing SPF underneath any liquid foundation can make your face look greasy, just because of the ingredients and finish. I think there are so many other drugstore foundations that look better on you. Jean.
