The turrets were only ever allowed to point forwards, so they had to make it reverse extra fast so they could still use their HE shells on retreating conscripts

Big difference between French and italian tanks: French tanks have a button for a white flag to pop out, the italian tanks have a faster reverse.

Survivory Tube honestly, I’m over the French getting a bad rap as immediate surrenderers. They only did that during WW2, with a reasoning that can at least be understood if not necessarily condoned. Italy, on the other hand, has continuously failed and/or embarrassed itself militarily, especially during WW2 where they constantly had to get bailed out by Germany. Ever since WW1 they’d also gotten a reputation as alliance-breakers.

@@jordinagel1184 the French military was screwed over hard by the political leadership in the interwar period (seriously they thought the military was waiting to launch a coup dispite a complete lack of evidence and did a heap to weaken it) and actually fought very well in belgum before the surrender and continued to fight well as the free french right up to the end of the war. They did well enough that even the major contributors to victory were willing to have them sit at the peace talks as another major power. No im not french btw.

i live on a Dutch island where a large area is used as training ground for Air force pilots, there is this one old ww2 bunker in the dunes that is used as target practice and you can often find spend ammunition casings on the beach. Sometimes we even hear them shooting, its like an air show, but free!

I played my first milsim a few days ago. Its so fun having the zeus spawn paratroopers in, getting your friend right next to you shot in the head during a radio transmission, trying to save him, and getting domed while they're still parachuting 500m away and then your squad panicking when neither of you answer comms. Damn russians.
