After seeing the reviews on Steam, and hearing what Mandalore had to say about this....I think I'll reserve my money for something better.

This mod makes Fallout 4 look like Fallout 1 For real though, it seems like this game has Fallout 2’s biggest shortcoming dialed up to 11 (constant, inappropriately-timed humor that undermines anything that’s supposed to be serious). It feels like the writers played some Fallout 2, and then were like, “well, people love this game. I guess our main takeaway should be that everyone’s favorite part was the Borderlands humor.”

What an amazing game

I honestly liked the mod alot. Laughed alot about the jokes. The heavy sci fi missions were a little too much for me. Chapter one was my favorite chapter. Kinda hoped the whole mod would be like that. Just patrolling and going in hard against the enemy with raids and shit. But at the end i was fighting on a giant space carrier.. Again. I liked the mod alot, one of my favorite mods out there. But the space stuff was too much for me to enjoy. And the mission with the hallicunations was way too long. Actually spend three days on on that one mission.

On one hand, I think videogames are a waste of time but with how the world is currently, I think they can help us stay busy and avoid trouble.

The hardest part about playing/beating this game was the fact that they had to attempt to balance it around people playing it perfectly and awfully. I save scummed this like a solid 500-600 times in my playthrough to get everything possible. Seeing this shows me what the other side of it was like because I was over equipped for most of my game. My first run though, I had to restart halfway through the run due to lack of armor in one of the missions. It was brutal.

Warno is good now imo, although it feels like soviet and french RNG is really good

Anytime someone tries to suggest that modders do a better job than Bethesda, I always point them at the Frontier.

I love how they keep saying they don't know how certain lines got into the final release or who did them as if there won't have been back-ups of every stage of development and every piece of work an individual submitted to the team at large. "How did that line get in there? Impossible to say." You could just check who sent what files to you and when. "Impossible to say!"

Someone should take the GEM engine and make a stand alone game out of that. streamline the interface and ui, make the scripting and trigger system easier to use. That way it's like TAB or UEB, but good. sell it as it's own game. I could play the editor on these games for hours setting up mock battles and different scenarios. People that fight in the military are called soldiers. regardless of their political standing. you don't have to be a politic guy to defend your nation.
