Rimski and Handkerchief "Throw It Out the Old Front Door"/ Turtle Soup

Rimski and Handkerchief "Throw It Out the Old Front Door" - rather brilliant actually. (You might know it from Ivor Cutler's "Turtle Soup" version, same tune, slightly different lyrics I think.) I believe they are Laura Pocket and Oli Cumming. Rimski I've seen before. Yes they have been at Glasto but did not film them there. Here they are at the Art Car Boot Sale in Granary Square, London, Sept 16 2018. The public performance is their copyright, I just filmed it for amusement and strongly recommend them - they are really fun.

after studying various videos of this amazing duo, this is probably a digital keyboard cleverly concealed to look like a upright piano, a true upright piano wouldn't work , they are just too heavy, pushing 700-800 pounds+ ( I've moved about 10 of them lol) also upright pianos are dangerously top heavy,, due to the pinblock, and heavy lumber, and the large amount of cast iron around the tuning pins, it also sounds too good, clean, but nonetheless it's a remarkable act , and very creative,

​@@tony--jamesIn other videos he can open the lid and stand in it. His feet go as deep as the keyboard. He can also get in it and close the lid. He also has a large fireproof container of some sort he puts in the cavity and sets it on fire. I agree with you completely. I am so fascinated by them that I just can't get enough! They are phenomenal!

@@martyrose thanks for that, I'll look for other videos, I've only seen just 2 for now, but yeah, it's very clever , that's for sure, he even managed to get various parts of the piano's cabinet ( whether from a old piano , or not ) to match up with the keyboard, so it looks really good,

​@@tony--james There's a video of him on Vimeo and in it he says he has used boat parts in building the piano. The standing in the piano, etc. are in the shows they did during lockdown. There's so much going on I don't know which episodes. If you watch the background of the videos, there is an old keyboard leaning up against the building so you are definitely right. Shame on me. I'm completely fascinated by this whole concept. I would definitely label him a genius and she's one of the most complete packages I've encountered. These two ooze talent and ability. Now that YT has brought them to the top of the algorithm, maybe they'll get the million subs they deserve.
