Beretta straight up talked to him with no honorifics. Even through the fact that he's the strongest in the room right now. The level of confidence Beretta has on her lineage is too high that she disregarded Guy's position over herself. And even Guy figured out that Noir is on Rimuru's side just by knowing Beretta's implication that the strongest of her lineage is serving Rimuru.

Guy Crimson didn't name himself. He was named after the screams of those he slaughtered and just adopted the name, therefore you pronounce Guy as "Gee", resembling screams of despairing humans. I'm sure his backstory will be told in like season 5 or so.

14:30 All of this footage was not Rimiru's magic. Shuna found crystal balls for recordings in Claybitch's castle. The anime NEVER brings it up, but, people can pass Rimiru items and such by way of his "stomach." Usually, it comes from Geld, because Geld has an ability very like Rimiru's. Geld can "eat" a thing, and Rimiru recieves it. Unfortunately, a few kickass details couldn't make it into the anime. Sad face.

Shuna might not be as strong as most of the others in regards to magicule amount, but her abilities basically allow her to basically ignore every rule magic follows thanks to her Law Manipulation skill and just overwrite it with her own, or straight up annul it. She is pretty much an exceptional counter mage. Even before her second evolution she was pretty badass though and although the anime didn't mention it, she showed an understanding of magic and an ease of learning it, that it shocked Myulan who'd studied magic for centuries, back when they talked about the shield they were supposed to build when Rimuru went to war with Falmuth. So it's not really a surprise, that her evolution leans more towards magic than anything else.

well every time a subordinate of Rimuru evolved they got skills/magicules etc. based on their wish. Benimaru, Shion etc. wanted to get stronger and thus the got skills (and magicules) that reflect their desires. Shuna on the other hand doesn't want to fight for Rimuru, she wants to be usefull to him and grant him every whish possible and thus she got a skills that as you say can put the laws of the world on the head. If she has knowledge of something she can create something new just from that information alone. She can cobine skills to creat new ones etc., she basically has a weaker version of Raphael for herself. But since this skill is so broken she had to sacrifice something and she did sacrifice her magicules count for it. (it's the same story with the evolution from Great Sage to Raphael where Rimuru had to sacrifice Merciless for it. And let's be honest while she may not be that combat strong. She certainly is the secret boss in Tempest, she really wears those pants :D

@@Ri_Shin_Marco True. Although at this point, as far as I know, her skill Analyst is 'just' an Unique Skill, not an Ultimate Skill. So basically everybody who uses a skill above the Unique level that embodies Law Manipulation as well, she will naturally lose because of how skills work in this world. But yeah, Shuna is very strong, and since she neither looks it nor acts like she is, I wouldn't be surprised if she could take on enemies stronger than her simply because they so seriously underestimate her based on her magicule count alone, that they don't get to counterattack.

@@jamesderbutler Yes best examples are demons. All demon have a rather small magicule capacity, despite magic being their forte. Diablo has the lowest magicule count out of the top 3 fighters in Tempest. His biggest gain would be his experience but that is true to all demons which also translates in them being overly cocky and thus underestimating nearly everyone. I actually think Shuna could fight a Duke or even Arch Duke demon (mostly Archdemon) and win it. Her biggest weakness would be against physical attacking foes or as you mentioned everyone with an ultimate skill. But she probably won't ever be a demon loard (getting those sweet 100k souls) since she probably like her brother wants to have offspring. But I actually would like to know what ultimate skill she would get...

"She's just telling him what's up" It's not that simple with Guy. He is knows as the strongest in the world, even being in his presence is the highest honor one could have. Beretta used a familiar dialect with him, even calling him without horrorifics. That's a high level of disrespect. Just as a comparation on Guy's strength: if you are in his presence and someone attacking him and you try to stop the attack, it will mean that you think he is weak and will be hurt. That could mean your death in most cases.

to be fair, Beretta comes from Primordial Black / Nior's Lineage, (aka Diablo) so its entirely normal for her to behave in such a manner, since Rouge and Nior were old friends and considered as the "Old Guard" of the Primordial Demons all the way back from the 1st Angelic War, Rouge gives Nior and his kin a lot of slack; very similar to how he treats Demon Lord Leon Cromwell (even though it seems like hes "hornii on main" for Leon).

I recently started watching your one piece and overlord reactions and caught up with your slime videos just in time and your energy is very fun to watch! Keep up the enjoyable work and I look forward to more. I am not sure if the anime is trying to wait for manga content rather than LN but it might be another year or so before the manga has enough to put into anime but I am very excited for the day.

I believe it was stated somewhere that the original source for the anime adaptation is the LN series as opposed to the manga, though they may be taking some points of inspiration from the manga (the illustrations in the LN are quite different from the manga and anime). My guess is that we probably won't get a season 3 announcement until after the movie premiers, much like what was done with Demon Slayer. This almost assuredly has more to do with marketing and business reasons than anything else. They're probably wanting all attention for more slime anime content to be focused on the movie in order to drive up hype and attendance for the movie, since that's the only Slime anime content that's been confirmed. If they announced a season 3 before the movie was released then much of the hype and anticipation would be focused on THAT as opposed to the movie, which would negatively affect ticket sales had they waited to announce until after the movie's release. This also means that the marketing team only has one project to focus on, which also means they don't have to worry about coordinating between both projects to ensure toes aren't stepped on and contradictory messaging doesn't happen. This is ESPECIALLY important because the movie itself is original content that isn't coming from the light novels. Whether it will be considered "canon" within the anime is questionable, like with most movies of anime adaptations of pre-existing series. It could be argued that part of the reason for the Demon Slayer movie's huge success was because it WAS canon and the direct continuation of the story in the anime, and so it was more-or-less "required" watching for fans of the TV series. The marketing team already has an uphill battle of generating hype and interest in what some might consider to be "filler" without also having to contend with another project that IS definitely canon.

Shuna has a similar (but inferior) magic as Wisdom King Raphael's Synthesis and Separation Sub-Skills originally acquired from the Unique Skill : Degeneration. Her Skill is only inferior to Raphael in that, Raphael has the bonus Sub-Skill known as "All of Creation" originally from the Unique Skill : Great Sage, which allows Wisdom King Raphael to have knowledge over any and all skills that have existed in history, however this is not an omnipotent skill since there are many skills that did not exist until Shuna and Rimuru invented them, for example - Shuna's "Overdrive" Counterattacking Trap based Magic, or Rimuru's "Merciless" Life Essence / Soul Denial Wide Range Area of Effect Magic. *Minor Spoilers below* "All of Creation" would also only know of these historical skills existence, but not how they were acquired.. however with Raphaels superior deductive reasoning and quantum supersampling she can deduce the optimal evolution path for every skill just by spending a few seconds in inside "Thought Acceleration" (1,000,000 x normal speed of thought). Later Rimuru would invent and founded the Outer God Series of Ultimate Skills, with the two of which being Void God Azathoth : Lord of Nihility, and Harvest Lord Shub Niggurath : Lord of Fertility. Edit: up until the founding of the Outer God Series Ultimate Skills, only 2 Series of Ultimate Skills existed (created by Stellar King Dragon Veldanava), the "Sin" Series, and the "Virtue" Series. also this is not really a spoiler, but Guy Crimson's first name "Guy" is pronounced "Gee" which is a japanese pronunciation for an informal shrieking sound typically heared from someone at the edge of death, in Guy's past he killed countless millions of humans as the 1st Primordial Demon "Rouge" before becoming an Awakened True Demon Lord, he supposedly enjoyed the sounds of humans shrieking in terror as they fell to his murderous rampage that he named himself "Guy" to immortalize that memory of his enjoyment. he is only the second monster in history to have given himself a name, the 1st being Stellar King Dragon Veldanava.
