You can now set miniguns to target an area. If you had of had both of them targeting the end of the corridor that fight would have been much less stressful. Moisture pumps take lots of time to work. Better to put one in and wait. I believe they work through walls as well.

Yep, the key to miniguns is to realize that they never hit what you are aiming at, but they get a great chance to hit stuff in any square the bullet passes through. Two firing down that corridor (especially if you stagger the firing) would probably have killed all the bugs before they reached them.

The bottom right room in your Mountain part of the base it's not getting power and there's no vent to get heat.

You should try keeping the notifications up until you resolve them. Helps to keep track of things better. Also, I'm not sure if this was patched, but I've had cases where a hive or two would spawn away from the others which can get you by surprise. I'd recommend zooming out as far as you can and double clicking a hive just to be safe.

Nope, you open up any overhead mountain tile you get bugs. You can fill them back in however.

Your rimworld grade imo would be a B+ You do well on finding interesting objectives that make keeping track of your colonists worthwhile, plus your horrible luck with randy makes sure that your colony doesnt stagnate some of your decisions and your lack of attention is a little frustrating but in the end it keeps the colony teetering on the edge of collapse which makes things more tense anyway so it ALMOST balances out
