You better have the Rimcuisine 2 mod installed which allows for the growing and consumption of an opioid based drug and psilocybin mushrooms. I see this high quality mod as a necessity for this playthrough.

Just a heads-up - as far as I know, if your doctor has a priority 1 patient AND doctor, they will ignore tending other colonists and themselves in order to "rest until healed" for this reason I tend to put my doctors on a patient priority 2, and manually make them bedrest if they need it more than other colonists.

Always do enjoy your Rimworld videos, especially your dedication to running a good story in place of running a "win-it-all" colony. Fair warning about the Biome you've settled in. I subscribe to the same mod (Alpha Biomes) and many users have reported issues with their machines and colonies while playing on the new biomes. Many small changes that run in the background have a tendency to kill performance.

Stupid thing I discovered just last week - you can set beds to be built right on top of sleeping spots, and it keeps whoever is assigned to that spot, and no fussing with deleting the sleeping spots after. Hours upon hours of gameplay and I discovered this by accident. -_-
