@@Ronald98 I used mods to turn them into batteries for the colony by putting them in pods. Matrix style as someone pointed out a while back. Don't know how I never made that realization myself. Then I'd take em out for harvesting stuff. And put them in a different pod to fully heal and regrow everything taken. Then cycle them back into the battery pod. Repeat until I have to many to realistically deal with. (God I feel like a monster typing this. But it's just a game!)

First time I played it the first travelers that passed by I captured them and kept them in a freezer where I butchered and stored food until they died from hypothermia, the most mild crime in the game probably

I mean I'm currently building a prison on top of a geothermal vent that spews out scorching steam at 200°C every few minutes. Then Randy gets a horde of elephants to join my colony. You ever tried steamed elephant?

Boy howdy I sure do love playing Rimworld and subjecting the entire planet at large to an armada of genetically engineered Vampires while also taking out someones kidney's VIA a robot doctor with nothing but a stethoscope, a rusty sawblade and a Wikipedia level knowledge on how to perform surgery.

The 1.4 update released recently, along with the 3rd paid DLC. So now you not only have the game's content (and mods), but also Royalty, Ideology, and Biotech (a lot of content worth the price, going from creating custom religions to genetically engineering furries and having child soldiers in your colony). As an aside, this made some people mad (or at least disappointed) that the 3rd DLC wasn't called Mechs or something, because now the popular fan theory that the DLCs were supposed to spell the game's name fell apart and now we have to call it RIBWORLD.

rimworld is a fantastic game, and honestly it's one of the easier colony simulators to pick up and learn IMO. Been a while since I played it but I believe they have 2 expansion/DLC's that adds a fair bit more content. Then it's very supportive of modding so there's tons of things you can mod in.

If you made the white spaces between the names of your patrons big enough your list of patrons can be longer than Sseth's. It's a matter of formatting, that's all.

One of the ideal ways to tame an animal awhile ago was via taming via treatment, basically heal up an animal after it's disabled from injury and it has a chance to tame. One of the best ways to "farm" that chance was to surgically remove it's spine, rendering it unable to walk or do anything, then have your guys beat it nearly to death and then heal it up, doing this over and over until you achieve stockhold taming. This is not the worst thing I heard players have done.

My latest run on this game went like this. Started with 2 pawns, 1 Vampire (latest DLC - xenoforms) and a servent. Dig up in the mountain, planting shoorms. Then when the raids began, ive used some big brain tactics to knock out raiders. Enslaving them, the useless ones were pined to the ground meaning i choped their legs off because they can start revolting and prison breaks, constantly draining their blood to feed my vampire. The not that useless ones, were enslaved to do grow my cult. Dressed in with neck colars and slave cages, makes them fear and lowering their resistance, not to mention extracting skulls from the dead ones and making skullspikes to terorize their minds. And the best of the best desirved to get bitten from my vampire, spreading his genes to the strongest ones, after brainwash their mind to believe in my cult conceptions that slavery is a must, butchering the fallen raiders into human leather is also a good thing. Now to increase the wealth of my colony ive invested a lot of resources to dig massive tunnels, built with Sun Lamps (allowing to grow plants in dark places) and guess what ? Massive production of Yayo (Cocaine). Constatly sending Transport Pots to my neibhors flooding their streets with drugs, selling, gifting it does not matter i have it in bulks, damn even selling it to the Space Ship Trades. With all this power i can get ally forces, massacare every raid that come, but be aware, the more wealth you got (everything you own in your colony got a price, thats how game calculate your power - in wealth) the bigger raids you get, it can end up facing 150-200 raiders raiding your colony, its messy really messy, thats why we have molotvs at the end.....burn every rotting corpse...hey its faster than Crematourium. And thats the vanilla game...unmodded.... Get addicted and end up with more mods size than the actual game (literary). And thats only 10% of the explanation of my run. There is a ton of stuff goin on to run smoothly, withouth dying from plague or your Yayo addicted pawn start berserker cus he wants to overdose and murder your colonists. You can do force child labor also if you are nasty.

Also worth noting. Yes. If you do not have the ability to manage a LOT at once. This game will be very annoying for you. And even if you do. Rng will actually screw you over at the worst possible times. It is not an easy game. And not in the same way dark souls is hard. Dark souls is at least fair. THIS GAME WILL ACTIVELY screw you over just cause it feels like it. Even if everything should in theory be working fine. But if you have the patience to deal with it. It is a very fun but very time consuming game. Much like factorio you will spend HOURS on this game at a time. And forget to take care of basic important needs trying to fix the latest crap the game throws at you. Or even just slightly improve your colony.

Since launch there have been 3 DLCs. Each DLC progressively adds more ways to be awful than the last.
