I think the mechanoics will directly come down direction. Because the nearest dry Ground is south, not east to the bridge.

Those abassadorial Meetings are quite ok to mend or deepen relations with other faction and usually give a nice relation-boost, as long as you send a good negotiator.

@w4sted: - Instead of having to clear the snow you can create an overhang roof. - You can forbid terraforming, you want to be done last, to basically prioritize the rest. - Also an updated Modlist in the description would be nice. The first time I played Rimworld I was not prepared and preceded to watch three innocent little pawns (plus the man in black) die horrifically at the hands of this inhospitable planet. That plus the frustrating UI design and low bar of an art style was enough to instantly put me off and never touch the game again.... Until I started watching this series and learned how to actually play Rimworld. Now I have a full late game modded colony with zero colonists deaths throughout the run. Thanks for reinvigorating my interest in Rimworld and showing me I was to quick to judge this very rewarding (however stressful at times) little game. Looking forward to whenever you decide to jump back into the rim!

the corpse will not spoil if its in a freezer, that goes for if hes in a sarcphogas, also probly better if you do put him in cause not burying a colonist will give a negative mood penalty

Septic tank is not useless. (Though you do need to plumb it in) make a septic tank inside, next to a biofuel refinery. Then set the septic tank to empty at 25% and set the refinery to turn all fecal mater into chemfuel. With a dump right between the two for fecal sludge and a stockpile for chem fuel next to the refinery, your colonists will empty the septic into the dump adjacent to the refinery, then immediately refine it into chemfuel. They should be able to support a couple chemfuel generators. (Or one and stockpile the rest for launchers) I actually never use the waste treatment plant cause even if I have too much chemfuel, I can just sell the excess. Also a great way to train up crafting (other than cutting every single stone block on the map) Water treatment is different and is a necessity, especially with how Cas likes to force you indoors.

Since you haven't uploaded an episode in months I'm going to assume that this series is dead. I have a suggestion for a new scenario if you're up for it. Imagine that you had a zombie apocalypse on the rimworld and everyone who could ascended to roboticism to escape the disease. Until some madman modified the disease to infect robots too. You and three other robots escaped your previous colony just before the zombies got in bu you know that they are only a few days behind you. Your goal: build a fortress to protect you and other robots from the zombies until you either succumb or manage to find a way off-world. This is similar to a series that another KZbinr I watch is doing but he's playing on peaceful so I'd like to see what Cas can do on sever with zombies.

I have a bit of an issue with your water setup: All of your intake comes through a single pipe in one place. It would probably be a good idea to add a couple more wells in different places so that it doesn't take just one bit of damage to take out all your hygiene and heating.

I think the mechanoids will head south as the distance to the bridge through the swamp is almost as far as the shore to the south. Also your colonists will be to the south so will draw them that way. If you want to be sure you can temporally remove a couple of bridge sections either way I suggest you remove the wood in between your defences and the swamp before going poking.

Hey Wasted, I think the piping to the sewer should be changed it very exposed now. I also think the septic tank can be used as a back up for the sewer outlet. Consider rebuilding it inside the walls so that if the sewer outlet is damaged you will still have toilets and such working because it will all drain to the septic tank instead. Besides that I hope to see another episode soon! I enjoy all your content but your Rimworld series are one of my top favorites on KZbin.

If the peace talks go awry, your negotiator (the person you send) loses 10 points of skill in speech and you also lose -5 faction rating. Nothing else negative happens.

Loving the series w4sted! Also, I recommend the Opened Doors Don't Block Light mod. The game has the stupid idea that every door is a dark area, which ends up slowing the pawns even when there are autodoors.

Hey W4stedspace you mentioned the hospitality mod and "someone mentioned i can stop guests from giving care." you can. pause and look for the mod settings button and you can customize what guests do. keep up the good work, always a good watch.

If you can afford it, putting sterile time in your kitchen helps with food poisoning. Putting sterile tile in your research lab speeds up research.

It's a burial site that colonists can visit for 'recreation,' so basically you can build a small tomb complex for worthy colonists, and the yet to die will visit to pay their respects.
