I put forward that the defining features of what is or isn't a sandwich based on compareing all items commonly agree to be sandwiches with those that aren't are, 1. A filling of a generally savory nature, though none savory examples do exist, 2. Not completely sealed, as this moves it into pastry territory, and 3. The use of leavened bread, unlike tacos and/or wraps which use unleavened breads

Great episode and I cant wait to see the direction going forward. I have to admit at the start when you showed the "Fort Inconspicuous" sign I felt an urge to change the O in fort to an A. I'm looking forward t next weekend.

should make the hover pads tilt using hinges like a vtol instead of using thrusters to move forward

@@zachcrimson663 That is a possibility, but only when all non-tilting hovers have a reduced height in comparison to the tilting ones. Reduced reliability would also be an issue with this solution, since you're still dealing with subgrids and scripts that you wouldn't have to deal with otherwise. It would be hard to make it so that it would also offer any tangible benefit, other than, maybe, _"cool factor"._ Providing a tighter turning radius is possible, but would require compromising max height and front-back acceleration. A more practical alternative would be to keep the thrusters, place more gyros, have some of the hoverpads (enough so that the craft sinks down a bit during a tilt) in a separate group and toggle "Align to gravity" off when a tight turn is needed , and tilt the whole craft. No extra scripts, no extra subgrids, same potential benefits, no compromises, some of the _"cool factor"._ Sorry for the wall of text.

I like Space Engineers and I love Vanguard, but I'm really missing space. Any idea when y'all are heading back to space? Or a planet without atmosphere? Or at least basing at the bottom of the ocean? Not trying to be annoying or whiny, but episode after episode on the planet and there doesn't really seem to be a plan or reason to be here.

They'll get back to space soon, I think - hopefully after they gather the weapons and resources they need! I think it is a nice twist, not being hunted continually - so they have time to build supplies and stuff up.

@@MrWarriorProphet I'm not opposed to hiding out and collecting resources since they're not being hunted. I'm just not a fan of atmospheric planets as it tends to get boring. It's very easy for it to become Euro Truck Simulator/SE edition when you're on a atmospheric planet driving around without a care in the world... admittedly it's not helped with a literal flying semi truck being the main mode of transportation. At least if they were under the water it would have some alien atmosphere with added risks of depth damaging them outside of vehicles. This map would be fine, even fun to play on, just not digging watching someone drive along when I'm not a fan of watching myself drive along. Much bigger fan of Firefly/Battlestar/Expanse than I am of Mad Max/Euro Truck Simulator.

Keep it up! I look forward to watching this every week! Frankly, I would love to be able to join in and help create some of that content (I have a few ideas, but they require things - including ship designs - that I don't have), but I know there are reasons why you don't do that for just anyone! Oh well, I can dream, right? And keep on thinking how many ways this can go? Perhaps someday, I'll get a lot of Server Farms up around the world to be able to do what I envisioned!
