vocaloid horror songs have got to be one of my all-time fav horror medias, the way that vocaloids already sound very uncanny can make for some very interesting uses. plus like this song that's 13 years old at the time im writing, many songs are very old which adds another layer of fear because its not the best quality for right now. I love this song so much. It sounds a bit like Susumu Hirasawa’s “Parade”, with the whole chaotic-cheerful type music & the fact that in the video, it is quite literally a parade of sorts. Sure, it may be a bit creepy to some, but I’m most certainly not creeped out at all. I think this song is about a parent who turned abusive on her children. The 'black castle' could be a big black house that the mother and children moved into and when it 'mimics' them it could be that the hallways echo when they sing. 'A brat' could be Rin's sibling (Most likely Len) and 'a brat is beaten' could be the aforementioned child abuse. 'This creature used to be white' means that their mother/father didn't beat them BEFORE but then they started beating the kids, and now the parent is seen as bad, or 'red creature'. When the 'red creature' dies and Rin says that the 'black castle' killed them it could be that they fell down the stairs and broke their neck, and all of this is seen through the perspective of a very small Rin Kagamine.

I know I'm just a "little" late to the party, but my interpretation of this song is as follows: A girl is taken by sin, or envy, and taints her soul through her jealousy. The black castle represents her mind, and the red creature is her soul. At first, the girl sings her heart out, and all is fine. The castle, or her mind, sings with her. But when she hears another girl sing, probably better than her, she becomes envious and the "red creature" appears, causing her to become violent. The black castle, meaning her purity, devours the monster, trying to smother the evil inside her. However, the evil grows and consumes the castle, becoming a black creature. The red creature used to be white, meaning she used to be able to keep her evil emotions in check, but in the end, her mind was always evil and now she's completely lost her last shred of purity. It could also be allegorical to other situations; instead of singing, it might have been a person's attention, or a passion she had. I think the point to make is that she let her envy consume her and taint her soul.

This is the most creepy song I have ever heard. Its like the entire song was a subliminal message. Maybe if you play LAdy Gaga backwards you will hear this song (just joking LOL). Honestly this truly gives me a creepy feeling, I think its the off key harmonizing of the instruments. Whatever it is, this is the first song by Rin I actually dislike. I will not dislike the video, I will just not like it. Honestly the dislike button does NOTHING anyways, it just counts haters haha. I dont hate this song, it just feels like there is something wrong with it. This is coming from the guy who occasionally reads creepypastas and watches Dark5's top tens and is unaffected for the most part, besides jumpy for a fre minutes.
