Something about this song and even the music video is so 2000s yet so modern, the concepts Rina touches on in regards to loosing and finding yourself are so universally relatable. No matter your relationship status with a partner or yourself this is a familiar feeling for everyone. Something about this song reminds me of Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry, idk it just has that raw authentic vibe. I can't wait to hear more from Rina, thank you for your music!

This song made me cry the lyrics really spoke to me 😭😭😭 I tried to find love and acceptance in people but at school and college people were so cruel and bullied me and made me feel unlovable and unworthy. I felt like if I acted a certain way people would accept me but it never worked. My inner child really got hurt and it's been a battle to really love myself and accept myself as I am without feeling like I need to do anything to get the approval of others but I'm getting there.

I've only come across your music this month, and wow, you're hitting every nerve in me. This song perfectly describes my current journey as an adult who spent all of my childhood and young adult life trying to look for love (self love, familial love, plain acceptance) and trying to defy my mother's narcissism and nihilism by trying to trust people she told me couldn't be trusted (teachers, friends, other family members). Now, I'm re-learning how to love myself again. It's a long and painful process as I have to face a lot of things and tell myself what I was told I was was wrong. But I have found love and acceptance with people I can unequivocally trust, mending relationships that were damaged thanks to my mother, and they in turn are teaching me why I am deserving of love and how to look for that girl I was before I as damaged.

Wow, you’ve describe a part of my life that I could never fully understand. I could never form strong relationship because my mom told me she was the only friend I have, and friends and teachers etc would hurt me (when it’s totally the other way around) definitely haven’t healed from this but fuck I have a better understanding now
