Cooking dinner on a beach in San Diego | A Van Life Family Vlog

Our house battery was running low, so we stopped at an EV charging station to power up while making breakfast in the van. Luckily, it was near a great park with a playground, so Spencer got to run around and have some fun. After his nap, we ran a few errands and then headed to Fiesta Island to catch the sunset by the water. We ended the day with a cozy van-cooked dinner overlooking the beach.

I used to take my son to that playground when he was your son’s age. Now he’s 17 years old 6 foot 3 inches tall 230 pounds tall Cambodian and Vietnamese kid. He got my heights. It’s good to see people with a lovely family.

We have Carlsbad Water here in San Diego Co. If you find a place to fill up your water bottle with Carlsbad water, give it a try it’s delicious. It’s also sold at Costco in plastic bottles, individual drinking bottles. I live in Carlsbad (North County San Diego) where we have the big Carlsbad Water Dispensary. Thank you for your videos. 🙏

Interesting video thank you for sharing. I was surprised at how little solar you could collect in San Diego in the winter. It sounds almost like the northeast here. I had a guess you’d get more and I was surprised that it takes over three hours to only get 45% battery charge on your batteries, but I’m sure you have several big batteries so energy on the road is always an issue. I found that we still have a battery generator like a jacket with solar/wall plug in campground, restrooms!) AND a small gas generator so we have all eventualities covered seems like a lot, but you don’t wanna get stuck. Your cooking products and style, especially since they’re from Costco, where I shop are also of interest to me. Thank you for sharing. 👍🌞🚙🏔️🏜️. Enjoy your travels.!

Yea we’re surprised too, i think its how low the sun stays during the winter months that charges so little. We got 600ah of batteries total. Im glad you’re enjoying our videos!
