Well I have just spent a delightful afternoon watching the whole gilding course by Rinaldin and although I know little of gilding I feel I have to commend the particular reader in the course and the immaculate manner by which the course was devised and published... Problem purchasing from Rinaldin website, no means for paying by direct debit Visa. Asked for name of bank? their closing days? sorry it just doesn't make sense.

i have rolls of gold guiding tape, i presume it is for books. But it is attached to the plastic sheet. i have tried to use it with a sticky material and burnish it to the sticky stuff but it doesn't separate. any ideas?

If you look with attention the video n 8 you will see that there should not be difficulties and generally we don’t have problems with the rolls. Please let us know which brand of imitation gold you are using and explain exactly the problem. Regards Marisa

What glue do you use before leaf pesting

Normally an instant water size is used, being a synthetic, water-based adhesive. 1 hour drying time
