This is good stuff Mike. You explain it in a great way that helps me understand it.

Hi Mike, minor point in video, that may confuse learners is that when testing round all outlets on ring final circuits all R1+R2 should be mainly the same within 0.05 ohms, if it is true ring with no spurs, Cheers Ian

I know the vid's not about this, but would luv to treat myself to a KT66DL but what were they thinking with the product design? The colours are terrible 😯😯 Can they be interchangeable? Maybe they should do a hello kitty version. Nicely presented with the testing info mate 👍

Mike should defo review it for loadout, as I’m 50/50 between the MFT1741+ & KT66

A lot of people criticise the colour scheme but it’s not that bad. IMO it’s absolute quality. Easy to use and the screen is a huge upgrade on anything else on the market

@@residualelectrical Plus most places it’s £100 less than the top Megger. So looks like decision made. Cheers

what is the relationship between r1 and r2 recorded in step 1 and (R1+ R2) recorded in step 3.
@residualelectrical Жыл бұрын
Little r’s (r1, r2, rn) are the end to ends of each conductor on a ring circuit only, R1+R2 is the combined line and neutrals of any circuit and done on rings and radials 👍🏼
