Sarah, I swear to you, I nearly died laughing and not at all in a cruel way but you were so funny the way you reacted and in your desperate struggle to rid the painting of the dreaded umbilical cord which I think is what came into most people's head as it grew and grew. But OMG, behind all the laughing the ring pour was fabulous and I really hope you got back on the horse and did it again, sans cord 😂😂😂

The paint line that got made actually reminds me of the entrance to a labyrinth, the way it moves up into the center of the circle and then has the rings leading out. This is a beautiful painting. Gorgeous colors. Really does look like a labyrinth to me!!

Your artistic abilities let you alter the pour so it worked and stretched out the design allowing wonderful cells to develop...Thanks for the lesson on being brave and pushing the limits of the pour.

The colors are so pretty. I actually like this. The mistaken ribbon is kind of cool. I'd especially liked it when that area in the corner near it hadn't yet been poured off the edge because there was a similar ribbon in the white and I thought it played off it quite well and looked really cool. It's still nice as it turned out and the colors are wonderful.

That's a gorgeous color palette! If something like the umbilical cord incident happens next time consider pouring more paint in your cup and pouring it right in the center.. it would have compressed the weird part and maybe pushed it off. Really beautiful lines and separation in this pour! Reminds me of a horseshoe crab lol

Beautiful pour! Colors are gorgeous. Ring definition is flawless. The more I look at it, the less I notice the ‘umbilical cord’. Of course, as a retired labor and delivery RN, you’ve seen one, they all look alike. Lol For the average person looking at the painting as a whole, not knowing the process, it won’t be an issue. They won’t think twice about it. As a whole, it is gorgeous!

Beautiful as usual!! The lines are awesome! The umbilical cord, from my perspective on my phone, looked sooo 3D, like I could reach in and grab it and pull the rings up, as if they were beautiful cords or yarn or something. I wish you’d of left it!!🤪 but some is still there and I still see that effect. Maybe it didn’t look that way in person. Awesome job anyway. Keep trying to copy you!! Which I feel oddly guilty about😇
