Apologies for this taking so long because of course Amazon/KZbin are desperate to mitigate the trainwreck they created. Besides that, if you are not someone who agrees with this video and the generally negative perspective of this series, please let me know why you watch/like Rings of Power, or any other show similar to it like The Acolyte.

You need all the points this game can give for the technician failing to fire the smoke charge. You are amazing. I saw your posts on how hard it was to upload this; I am sorry. But DAMN have you made it worthwhile for your fans. Not to mention, your better presentation of map distances than the show can hope to demonstrate. ... are these elves carrying any gear other than weapons and a map? I mean, food? Water? Gathering on the way okay what about a sleeping mat or spare clothes or something? Also I'm led to believe the Barrow-wights only existed in the Third Age...

Thank you, I do my best for you all. The only thing Elrond's group have with them are what they're carrying and their weapons. They don't even have Lembas Bread or water. Lastly yes Barrow-Wights do not appear until the Third Age when Sauron raises them.

Whew! I saw your community tab posts about the epic saga that is trying to get this video through KZbin's automated copyright detection. But WOW, it's even worse than I imagined. So many uploads. And that must mean so many re-renders, too.

~5 minutes per render and ~10-20 minutes per upload. This video was supposed to go up Thursday so 53 uploads, 54 including this final edit. ~15-18 minutes in total and you're looking at 8 renders/uploads per day from Thursday to yesterday while doing other work.

Whoever this desert hobo is, this is not in any way Tom Bombadil. One of the big things with Tom is that despite kind of looking like just some colorful hobo who hangs out in the woods, he still has that kind of fae/ancient spirit feel to him, and you can believe that he truly is something ancient and powerful... but also completely and utterly unconcerned with the state of Middle-Earth or the peoples and their petty wars and squables. It makes sense that the Council at Rivendale quickly dismissed the idea of giving the Ring to Tom because it was very obvious that while Tom was beyond the corruption of the Ring... he also didn't give a shit and couldn't be trusted not to just drop it somewhere and forget about it because he had so little concern for such petty things that he simply would have lost interest. He came across as almost an eldritch entity in human form, shaped like a man yet very obviously anything but Amazon's Tom Bombadil is just a generic powerful yet still very human being... which completely destroys a large chunk of the character and the concept. We have no reason at all to think that RoP's Tom couldn't be trusted to deal with the Ring once it becomes a concern, because this Tom is very human in his concerns and outlook even though they try to still make him seem distant or ancient... all they did was succeed at making an ancient hobo. There's nothing otherworldly or whimsical or godly about RoP's Tom... he's just a guy living in the desert who happens to be more powerful than most, but fails to capture that 'otherness' that Tolkien's Tom had

Right. They even messed this up. How, how can you possibly make Tom a normal guy? Isn't it undoubtedly clear that he should be at least something else rather than normal. The level of incompetence cannot be described.

Elrond is the only character who has acted even remotely like an intelligent being the entire season. The elven rings are clearly evil in the show.

The only good thing about the show is that it fails the source material so badly that I dont even need to try to force myself to think its just a fanfiction. Its so far off, I dont even recognize it as Lord of the Rings/ Tolkiens world. The only reminder for me are really just the names.
