The music in Season 1 was soooo good. I didn't have strong feelings about the story itself, but the music and visuals made watching the show like watching a very long very cool music video. I liked it overall, and I hope season 2 has the same plus a more compelling chapter of the story.

I'm happy I dont know the book, this show was so enjoyable. People were treating it like it was the actor but its been filled with great actors, good story lines and fun to watch for the movie lore.

@@Ove08 Yeah I agree. I think my main problem with S1 was how they tried to make every plot point into a mystery, which they really didn't have to do. Because of that, I didn't really care about many of the characters. So far with S2 they seem to be doing less mystery stuff, which is good imo.

The thing that people need to remember is that this is not a faithful recreation. This is a made for TV adaptation the general viewers need to be able to understand without having read any books or watched any KZbin videos. Take my advice and enjoy it for what it is rather than wishing it was something else and being miserable.

Great recap. But nothing compares to re-watching the entire first season. I enjoyed it when I originally watched it when it first aired, but I must say that my enjoyment tripled during the rewatch. Being able to binge all eight episodes really helped and for those who didn’t like the first season I think it gets much better on a rewatch. I am very excited about watching the first three episodes on Thursday.

I really don't give understand all the hate, I really enjoyed the first season. Something doesn't have to be perfect to be considered good. It's been a very fun story that is filling out the lore from the movies in a way that I think shows respect to the movies while taking small liberties here & there so that the story/ characters aren't SO obvious.

Then I heard that a crown needed to be made but there wasn't enough Mithril so they forged rings from the Mithril instead.
