In the last few years I had stopped watching Marathi films altogether, thinking that the golden era of Marathi films was already over. The golden era when films like Mumbaicha Jawai, Kama purta mama, Pathlag such films were made. Now Sairat has opened the floodgates of good Marathi films. I am happy and feel proud to be born and brought up in Maharashtra. Now Nagraj Manjule has raised the bar so high, that he will have to think several times before taking up a new subject. -Great film in all respects!

I dnt knw marathi but I watched this movie with english subtitles.....such a great work n awsm movie. Its not just story but actors, rawness and simplicity and so realistic that won my heart. It connects the audience with their life so magically.

I saw the film twice and I am very much excited and proud that Marathi film can do such a film, which make people very happy. I like the Archie dashing role in film, photography, music and every scene of film is a good photography that a true artist love. Thanks to Nagraj Manjule, Rinku Rajguru, Akash Thosar and other artist who make this film so very good.

yes I can say sirat is a mindblowig and superb but I am very sorry the way movie gets end I was speechless when I saw end. I think director may be in right direction afterward movie is emotional and heart beating.
